Camille with the Travel Team went above and beyond our expectations. We had booked a trip to Australia and New Zealand and left everything to Camille to plan everything for us and we were very pleased with the quality of tours and the timings of everything including the flights. Camille at the Travel Team has surpassed our expectations several times (so far). We traveled to Europe last spring for three weeks and are now planning another trip to Australia and New Zealand. Camille's expertise and mostly her personal experience has made both trips amazing in it' s depth and breadth of traveling. Truly remarkable!

I did not even get as far as booking with them. First person took all my plans and said she would get back to me before she went on vacation. When she did not get back to me I called and found out she had done nothing. The next person informed me I would fly to the cities she chose and "you can just find your way from there". I did not want to go to any of these places and I wanted to take the train not fly. She informed me I would do what she told me to do. I went to another agency and went exactly where I wanted to go and took the train between cities. No way would I give them my business.

Reached out to this agency and received a reply that someone would be getting back to me in 24 hours. Nothing. Sent a follow up 24 hours later and received a nearly identical message. Still no one got back to me. Really disappointed, because I really want to take a great vacation and just don't have time to do the legwork. Maybe this is why no one uses travel agencies anymore?

The Travel Team travel agency and Camille Barrat are exceptional! Our trip to Australia, New Zealand, and Tahiti in April 2015 was wonderful due to the exceptional expertise of the Travel Team Agency out of Seattle and Camille Barrat. (She can be reached at 1-800-788-0829 - Ext 228 -- or by e-mail at camille@travelteam.com). We found her on the internet and checked Trip Advisor reviews. Seeing good comments, we began our planning with Camille over the phone in October of 2014. We wanted to add our comments so that others can benefit from Camille's efficiency and care and concern. We never met Camille and didn't know anyone who had used her - but we were so determined that we did not want to do a "canned" / totally guided tour for our Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti trip and wanted to develop the trip by where WE wanted to go and do it as independently as possible. Camille made that possible. She made all of arrangements for our one-month trip. The international air connections that she arranged with Air New Zealand, Qantas, and Air Tahiti Nui were perfect. The air transfers between countries were great. The transportation accommodations and hotel lodgings that Camille chose for us in places where we didn't have our camper van (which we used for camping around most of our New Zealand portion of the trip) were wonderful. The camper van company (we used Britz) and the ferry transfer from the north island to the South Island on the Cook Strait Ferry went perfectly. The transfers from airport to hotel and back again were perfect every time! Any transfers by travel bus or tours also went perfectly. We were never stranded. (That was not the case for some people who had used different agencies and travel companies.) Camille also helped arrange and suggest "small group" tours within locations where we were throughout the trip. We saw penguins in Melbourne, had a hike around the base of the Uluru giant red rock when we were at Ayers Rock, and had all the activities set up for us at the Great Barrier Reef area and Cairns. She had perfect arrangements for the ground transportation to the Red Rock Centre, Great Barrier Reef area, for tours with Billy Tea Safari & Daintree Rainforest, and to Tahiti and Bora Bora. We felt that we have a "new friend" in Camille and will definitely use her again for any "independent" travel that we do. Your service is above what we ever expected. Dianne with The Travel Team was absolutely amazing at booking our trip to Australia/New Zealand. The pricing was so much better than anything I could have done on my own and the accomodations and travel were perfect for what we were wanting to achieve while gone. We were able to experience all Sydney and Auckland had to offer all while being extremely comfortable and relaxed. I was encouraged by some of the other reviews, but ended up quite disappointed by my phone call with this agency. I said I wanted to speak with someone about planning some kind of travel adventure, but wasn't quite sure what I wanted - that I needed ideas. She suggested that I phone back when I knew where I wanted to go and when. Isn't that was Travelocity is for??? So disappointed.
