New management came in and fired most all the workers and the old managers. The service is Inadequate. The food sits too long on line while making the order 2nd item. Sent it back. I use to go atleast once a week but im done going. Plus they wouldn't let us use our AARP Card because we odered off the special menu. The ambiance was like a morgue

When this place first opened it was great! Wonderful service, great food and good price, My wife and I would dine there often! Lately the whole atmosphere has changed, very poor service,foods gone downhill, staff seems not to care anymore! Last time there watched morning manager do nothing while other workers hustled to try and keep up! You could feel the tension from staff to management! We'll be going to another place from now on!

Ate there Sunday 6/29/25 Slow service about 10 minutes before a.waitress came over..after a 25 min wait the food arrived and.it.was terrible! Couldn't eat any of the hash browns and the eggs weren't as I ordered. The only thing worse than the service was the food the waitress then said oh it looks like they ran out of the butter to cook them not even apology nothing I'll never eat there again ordered off this value menu they treat you like you did. I have gone to Denny's for years and they have very good breakfasts and the price is also good. I get to know everybody there and everybody's happy and even the manager is happy and always comes and talks to you. Keep up the good work.

This was another good visit to this location. We like the convenience of the location and the service brings us back. Coffee was great and fresh. Our server was attentive and made sure we had all we need. Clean bathrooms were nice, too.

I don't complain easily but- ordered takeout and got pork at first , it was very fatty that I couldn't eat it went back in they replaced it with beef, it was even more fatty like 45% FAT!! Sent my boyfriend back in this time, they replaced it with chicken. first bite I take was like 25% fat!! I'm done, over it.. won't ever go there again 2 stars only cuz desert was pretty fire.. I'm not a Karen either so I didn't even want to leave this review let alone complain to them but it was an expensive dinner to just give to the dogs

Went to have dinner with my Brother @ 7pm. The gal @ the register finished a transaction @ the register, told us it would be a few seconds & took another couple to be seated. She got coffee, water for them & proceeded to the large room where she took orders for a group of 6+ people.not sure how many. We could have been seated & given a menu while she handled the large group. The 2nd waitress busied herself serving coffee & also ignored us. We left after standing around for quite awhile. Not sure if its because we were Black that we were left standing. Have been to several Dennys b4 hand & were never left out like this! Super disappointing!

We've been going to this Denny's since it opened and enjoyed each and every visit until recently. It was always like one big family with the customers and the waitresses/waiters. Recently we noticed a change in the food and service. Last week we had a new waiter and had to wait 50 minutes for our food. Then this week we were served the wrong food. One of the staff informed us that this Denny's was under new management. Why fix something that isn't broke? We really don't enjoy our visits there anymore as the friendly atmosphere is gone. It's really sad to see this happen to one of our favorite places for meals. Bring back the old management. New isn't always better!!!

Dropped off Sis for her earlier than early flight to Hawaii and was jonesing for breakfast. Went to the Denny's in Fife near the EQC casino and I guy drove up to me, offering to sell me an iPad or GPS. I got back in my car and left because I didn't want him selling stuff from my car while I was eating. So I came here and was surprised to see that this Dennys was trying. The updated look was kinda cool and the waitress was so friendly in spite of how early it was. I got a Moon Over My Hammy and they weren't screwing around with the ham. I got a large portion which was nice, but even better was the crispy grilled cheesey-like consistency of the bread that you expect from this dish. I had the dining room to myself which I loved, and I got to leave just as other customers came in. Usually Dennys is a depressing place to go to and I go there for a mood. This place wasn't that. They are really trying and I appreciate that.

On Sept 28th 2023, at approximately 11:45 PM, my Asian wife and I (Non-Asian) decide to eat breakfast at this Denny's location. Only one waitress and she definitely has issues. Actually wanted to dictate how we ordered our food. She brings our drinks, without any straws, and then disappears. My wife decided to get two straws, when the waitress returns she makes a ridiculous comment about it. If she was around, we could have asked. When ordering, she actually interrupted us from talking about what we wanted to eat. She wanted to tell us how to order our food. The food arrives very greasy and overcooked. It was nasty. *** The waitress then says, "did you notice I am losing my hair!" My jaw dropped and mentioned that "we didn't notice", wife and I were focused on each other. We also have no idea where that out of left field statement came from? She then demonstrates and pulls chunks of her hair out to shows us. After my jaw dropped, she claims it was a joke. This isn't funny, and she is serving us food! Very disgusting and unprofessional! My wife and I remained respectful (yet shocked) regarding this waitress. Starting to think many people in Olympia/Tumwater are mentally unstable!
