Picked up a few market essentials at this clean and well stocked location. The deli and coffee bar offered really good takeaway. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly to confused out-of-towners like us. Lol! The real find was the attached pizza/sandwich shop. While fam ate a few muffins, I bought a Jamaican patty that the shop heated up and I quickly gulped down! So good!

Stale cake from their bakery. The cake was extremely stale, I don't even know how a place that's so busy even had such a stale cake. Very mad it wasn't cheap either. I usually like Decicco but I will not be returning after this.

If I could leave all the possible stars just for the pizza alone I would. I'm a big fan of DeCicco's locations because you know no matter which location you go to, you'll get exactly that, the DeCicco experience. High quality ingredients, lots of Italian products, huge cheese variety, even fresh made mozzarella. This time we popped in here for a quick slice of pizza which we somehow fully missed. We ended up getting these spring rolls from the prepared foods area and were like ok, I guess we will eat this - even though deep down, all we wanted was a nice and warm quick slice of pizza. As we check out and were about to leave, there it was, the pizza area! We quickly went over, ordered two slices of the Margherita. They were perfectly warm, thin and crisp. Absolutely DELICIOUS. They even have a two for $25 Monday special for full cheese pies which is a steal. Even though this location is pretty far for me, glad we got to stop in and enjoy their amazing pizza as we were on the go.

Decicco and Sons in Eastchester is pretty good. The parking lot is big and free. The fruit and vegetables are good and fresh. They have most things we need. The raw chicken selection is good, and the seafood department is good. The lines to check out aren't too long and move quickly. This is definitely a good neighborhood option supermarket.

The food catering from this location tasted very bland. It is akin to hospital food. Not sure how much they charge for catering, but I imagine it is pricey. This review is strictly for their catering. I recommend just ordering food from a restaurant where they season their food.

Here's a refined version of your experience: --- Today, October 28, 2024, I visited DeCicco & Sons in Scarsdale/Eastchester, NY, to buy persimmons. The advertised flyer listed them at $1.99/lb, but when I checked out, the system rang them up as $1.99 per small unit. I showed the flyer and explained that the seller has a legal obligation to honor the advertised price once a contract is formed with a total set price. Unfortunately, not only did the employee refuse to honor the flyer price, but they were also extremely rude. Disappointing behavior from DeCicco & Sons, especially given the apparent greediness in ignoring their own published prices.

One thing that will always drive me crazy is when it's clear to me that the people who own or work in a place must not use their own products because if they did the product wouldn't work the way that it does. Case in point: these guys use the sticker on the cold cuts to seal the bag shut. This means in order to open it, you have to rip the sticker or try to carefully remove it, often ripping the bag in the process. It's completely idiotic. By the way, I'm not the only one who feels this way, I was once in line and the woman in front of me virtually yelled at the guy to say please don't put the sticker on the bag that way. I looked at her and said "I thought that was only me". She told me it drives her crazy. For the love of God, please stop doing this.

Catering review only - I am amazed at how there are no spices added in these dishes it has consistently been unseasoned in ways I don't understand. Potatoes? Fish? Veggies? Poultry? Nope! Would recommend only if you want to empathize with your friend who lost taste from covid Flavor aside, kind and helpful service!

Fancy supermarket with a very large selection of everything. The quality of most things is pretty good, but it comes with high prices to match. I wouldn't come here for every day shopping, but if you have some kind of speciality item in mind its a good place for it. I found the produce section to be great. Plenty of baking options. There is a large selection of cold cuts and cheeses as well. They have some kind of bar? but i cant figure out who is drinking at a supermarket. If you dont mind mind the prices, this place will have what you need, but otherwise I would keep my options open.

While not my go-to supermarket, I have been to a few DeCicco's over the years and am overall a fan. I find that they usually position themselves in the wealthier areas of Westchester (Armonk, Larchmont, Bedford, etc.), and fit in quite well due to their offerings of high quality products, great customer service, and beautiful stores. This particular DeCicco's is one of their newer locations, having opened either shortly before or shortly after the pandemic hit. I was in the area and needed to pick up a few things outside of my normal weekly shopping, so I thought I would stop here. If you live in Westchester or Rockland, you might notice that there are two different supermarket businesses named DeCicco's - one called DeCicco Family Markets and the other called DeCicco & Sons. I think they're of the same family, but operate independently. The best way for me to describe what sets DeCicco's apart from traditional grocers is to compare them to H Mart. While H Mart sells traditional groceries with expanded Asian selections, DeCicco's does the same but with Italian products. That's not to undercut their traditional offerings - almost everything I have purchased from DeCicco's is top quality. This Sons location filled the space that Food Emporium left after A&P folded a few years back. The space is huge and beautifully laid out - plenty of aisle space, clean and organized, and extras that one expects from today's supermarkets like an expanded hot bar and to-go food selections. I was easily able to find what I wanted here, and had a seamless checkout experience. Overall, this DeCicco's is a welcome addition to Westchester. Is it the cheapest supermarket out there? By no means, but you pay for the quality and service that a family-owned business can give you. While not in my normal rotation, I would have no qualms returning to DeCicco's again.
