Let's start with the food : The shrimp and linguini were ok , but nothing to brag about . The gnocchi was good but not enough Parmesan cheese . They serve you a complementary toasted pitta bread with burrata cheese that is very good . The part time lover martini it's supposed to be a strawberry drink .. it was a good one but I don't understand why they garnished with a raspberry, makes no sense . The decor in the place is simple but nice . The staff is helpful but not very warming so the vibe in the place is a bit awkward, it's like you're being served by robots instead of people. Parking is street meter parking , they are also located across the street from the Hartford train station.

"Granita" A granita is a coarse, Italian-style flavored ice that is amazing! Had one in Italy a few years ago. Was excited to see a place so close to home that was named after that amazing treat! Only to find out that they don't have any on the desert menu... What!!? How do you call yourselves by that name if you don't have it on the menu. Makes no sense! Came on a Sunday afternoon at about 1ish. The servers seemed cold and unfriendly. Made us feel like it was an inconvenience that they had to get up from the bar area and actually do some work. Typically this is brunch time for the area we live in and every restaurant in the area serves brunch. Asked if they had a brunch menu and they do not, seems like a missed opportunity on their part... whatever moving on. Ordered arancini as an app. When done right they can be awesome. These were ice cold in the middle and they didn't use risotto. They used yellow rice!!! I complained that they were cold, so they took them back. They brought the same three back to us after they tossed them back in the fryer a few minutes. They looked like they were falling apart in the bowl all cracked, smashed and falling apart. This is not how they are supposed to look. Terrible and shameless that they would put this back in front of us. The pizza I ordered was nothing special and it took forever to get. I was hungry so I ate it nonetheless. The rigatoni my wife ordered was nothing to write home about. The place itself looks like it could be a good place as the decorating makes it look nice. I was fooled by the lipstick on this pig. This place has a long way to go and it's amazing it even has anywhere close to 4 stars on yelp. They need Gordon Ramsay to come in to get them on track. I could only imagine what he would say had he received what we did as food.... "ITS F*#%* COLD IN THE MIDDLE!!! WHY ARE YOU NAMED AFTER A FAMOUS DESERT FROM ITALY AND IT'S NOT SERVED ON THE MENU!!! - quote from my imaginary Gordon Ramsay. I really wanted to like this place. I think there is tons of potential, but they are not there. Needs work. Save the money and move on.

We absolutely loved every meal we have eaten here! The key is to listen to the specials! Those are the freshest, most creative dishes. We are also appreciate the option to order traditional Italian comfort food.

A bit expensive but food is great and service is attentive. Specials are a bit pricey but very good. Nice team

I had a very disappointing lunch at Granita.. It was my first time in the restaurant. and I was very excited to try it. The service was horrendous, as if we weren't even there. There were two other tables seated, and I did notice a couple at the table next to us got up and went to the bar to ask for their check. I should have known! We started off with wine, and I ordered a steak sandwich for lunch and my friend got arugula salad with shrimp. Food arrived and I looked at her salad. It was ridiculous! They gave her three shrimp on a $20 salad. I have never in my life seen three shrimp presented on a salad at any restaurant. These were not large shrimp! The salad was bland, small and not memorable. I had ordered a steak sandwich which was good. After the waiter put the food plates down, he never came back. Our wine glasses were empty he was at the bar on his phone. 20 minutes later still nothing. There was no checking back until he came to clear the dishes half an hour later. He then asked do you want more wine? My girlfriend said "No, not now." It was too late! The restaurant was empty yet the two employees or owners just stood at the bar on their phones the entire time we were there. Poor service and food was just ok. We will not be back.

Been coming here since 2019. Food has been outstanding and when trying different restaurants in Westchester I keep coming back to Granitas. Arancini, pizza and pasta are outstanding. Highly recommend.

Major regrets not visiting this place sooner! Granita welcomed us to the bar while we waited for a desired table by the window. Cocktail menu is padded with well known classic with new variations. An excellent primer to the meal ahead. Do not skip the Crispy Kale Pizza. Perfectly cheesy with rich kale flavor cut perfectly with lemon. Crust had a snap and delicate chew. This was a great way to fit in some 'health' into the meal Freshest and best cooked calamari I've had a in long time. Not in the slightest bit rubbery or fishy. Pastas we're both extremely fresh and both dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. Gnocchi dish narrowly won out as the Rigatoni had a bit too much garlic for our liking but garlic lovers will enjoy it! We carb loaded and had a few rounds of drinks so we didn't make it to dessert but will make room for next time. Also eyeing their very attractive happy hour 4-7 with many two for one cocktails and other drink specials.

I love this place! I was looking for a new Italian place in the area, and I found this spot. I went for lunch, and it was so good! I order the chicken. I would definitely order it again! It was delicious and it came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I can't wait to come back here and try more of their entrees!

I had this spot bookmarked for a while. Called today to make sure they were open for Memorial Day! Glad they were. We dined outside. We were greeted by a very nice young lady who was very attentive to us. We started with the meatballs. I happen to think I am a meatball snob! Well those meatballs were really great. Great texture, flavor. I really loved the fact that they were in Polenta. I prefer that then the ricotta a lot of places serve them with. So that was a big hit!! We then had a pizza, margarita. It was very good. Thin, and well done. We shared the gnocchi. The gnocchi, is what I was dying for. They were really delicious. Very "pillowy"! Great! We will be back here!

I came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. I really liked the interior and how the tables were spaced out evenly (gotta be cautious with indoor dining!) We started with the roast beet salad and the calamari. The calamari came with an additional sauce, which was tasty! Couldn't pinpoint what was in it but it definitely had a kick. For our entree, we shared two pizzas; wild mushroom and the margarita, the former being my favorite of the two. Of course I had to get dessert since we were celebrating my bday! I ordered the flourless almond torte and it did not disappoint. I would come back here for sure! *They do have happy hour from 4-7 on weekdays!
