There's nothing Iike more than really good Mexican food. Vega didn't disappoint. Took myself to lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place was pretty much empty and I have to admit I was skeptical until I tasted my food. All doubt went away lol. I started with a red Sangria, and they brought me some warm nachos with salsa which I devoured. I also ordered the Mexican street corn - it was a good size portion and I just had to finish (cause.....why not lol). By that time I was full but managed to leave a small spot for my entree of steak and shrimp fajitas. It came out smoking hot (you can see the smoke in my picture), nice crispness to the veggies and the steak and shrimp seasoned to perfection! It came with guacamole, sour cream, rice and black beans. I also have to give a shout out to the service. I was checked on the entire time I was there and I really enjoyed both the food and the service. As I'm typing this I'm trying to figure out when I'm going back again.

Stopped here for a virgin passion fruit margarita and some chips and salsa. This place is nice and clean and the drinks are FIRE!!!!! The staff are nice and the ambiance is wonderful. Can't wait to come back.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Hartsdale service is always super fast. Staff is more than willing to do anything to accommodate you. Drinks are top-tier guacamole is amazing. The restaurant in itself is super cute as well.

Awesome experience here. Food was amazing, prices were reasonable. We definitely want to come back! This is how a restaurant should be run. Great!

Great food with ample portions. 6 of us all enjoyed our food. Guacamole starter was very good- we had 3 bowls. I'm a fairly big eater and was able to take home part of my mixed fajita entree. Churros for desert and very good coffee capped off the meal nicely. Staff was great and attentive. Interior is lively with a lot of things going on- colored lights and a water fall wall but it wasn't too garish. Crowded Friday night with quite a few kids was pretty loud. There is a separate bar area. Drinks were a little pricey for top shelf. My regular margarita was still very good. I think happy hour only applies to the bar. 20% gratuity applied to our party of 6.

Food is awesome! Perfectly seasoned and piping hot. Service was dutiful and conscientious. The table side guac is amazing in all ways and like the fact you can adjust the spiciness of it! Nachos were generous in size and application of cheese. Fajitas came on a sizzling plate and the chicken was tender and the vegetables very well seasoned, The restaurant was a bit chilly, the lighting a bit dim, and the music a little loud.

Even when they're packed, the servers are so friendly and attentive you don't mind waiting a little while for your food. Of course it helps to start with some warm chips and salsa! The coconut shrimp was delicious and the burrito was next-level! The wings of fire had a wonderful flavor of habanero and orange.

This place has had a rebound. I would give this place a 3.5 The carne asada came out properly cooked and was pretty good. B+ The Chipotle lemon chicken was more like chipotle chicken with no lemon. There was no taste of lemon at all. The mojito was not good. No mint was muddled in at all while making the drink and mint was plopped on top of the drink. I can tell that great strides were taken to fix the shortcomings in the past and it has paid off.
