The service was fast and friendly. They have several tables and the atmosphere is cute. I ordered the apple macchiato and my boyfriend got the raspberry sunrise. Both were really good!

I did not get the most friendly vibes...I came in with my book bag, attempting to do some work & possibly focus in on some things. The chairs didn't look comfortable. It just didn't feel very inviting and was smaller than what I thought it would be, inside the place. I said I wanted the $4 matcha, and the barista asked me what size--the menu didn't specify sizes, it just said the price by the drink name. I said, "Which one is the $4 one?" She seemed just as confused as me. I asked for a chocolate donut, to which she responded with, "You said the white chocolate right?" *insert casual flip of the tip screen* Between the service and the "vibes," sorry, but I can take my time and business elsewhere.

Stopped by Charleston Coffee for the first time on a Saturday morning and it certainly won't be the last. Charleston Coffee has a robust coffee menu, including some fun specialty lattes, and a fun seasonal beverage menu to boot. Their food menu is varied and includes a few vegan items. I ordered their nutella latte which was good! My dining companion ordered their pistachio latte, which was a delicious blend of pistachio and white chocolate (I had a sip). They have milk alternatives and we were both able to get our lattes made with almond milk. For my breakfast, I got their vegan breakfast burrito which was easily one of the best vegan breakfast burritos I've enjoyed. With creamy chunks of vegan mozzarella, vegan chorizo, and eggless egg, it was delicious! My dining companion got the same dish and we pretty much spend the morning raving about it. The service was friendly and welcoming. They have some lovely outdoor seating (a little early in the spring for us to enjoy--but we'll be back later in the summer!) and comfortable indoor seating as well. Get to it!

Positives: great atmosphere, fun coffee flavors, plentiful tasty sounding menu items. Hard working staff. Food was good. Challenges: understaffed - the cashier was also making drinks and there only seemed to be one person in the kitchen. Both seemed to be teenagers, which is not a problem, it just seemed strange for such a busy restaurant with a robust menu. The bathroom was out of paper towels and when told, the staff said they were out. The napkin dispenser was also empty but they were able to refill that.

Tried this place a few weeks ago on DoorDash for a lazy start to the day. The food arrived hot and was delicious. Decided to check them out in person the following week. The croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious. The breakfast burrito was more pressed like a panini this time around. When we ordered to go, it looked more burrito. Both versions were good, just a bit surprised with the pressed one. The inside very gives coffee shop vibes. You order at the counter and your food is brought to you. There were a number of to go orders being picked up while we there. Would definitely order to go or visit again.

My dr's office is nearby and after fasting for some labs I was ready for a frozen latte! First time here, very cute in here and their menu is quite extensive for such a small cafe. The staff are quick and friendly. It was nice to see a few people inside on a Thursday, choosing local over chain! My frozen latte is delicious and exactly what I needed. I'll be coming back after my next appt for sure!

Cute little cafe with a good flow of people. The iced coffee and cannoli were very good. The behind the scenes cook was pleasant and brought our food directly to the table with a smile. They do need to upgrade their food game though. The everything breakfast burrito was filled well but dry, the egg and cheese croissant was an expensive version of a Jimmy Dean breakfast croissant without the sausage..both sandwiches would be better purchased from your own grocery store and microwaved in your own kitchen. Add some freshly made food and this place would shine.

I don't usually complain about Charleston Cafe because I love it. Today though I made an order earlier to come by 2:40. When I went back to look at it later than that because I remembered it said it was canceled. It said to look at my email and it would tell me why but there's nothing in there. So I looked it up on Google and it said they're open till 5:00 starting today. So it was 4:00 when I was trying to call them. I went on doordash it said it was closed and nobody answered. So today I'm very upset because I can't figure out why it's canceled. I'm not saying this happens often because I don't know about other people but this really upset me this time since I was really looking forward to my food.

Cute vibe, great coffee. That's what we went in for. The menu does seem a little overwhelming when you walk in. I was glad there weren't anyone else in line, cuz I had to take some time to look through. There weren't any sugar free options so I just had their coffee - medium/bold roast. I had asked what roaster the coffee is from, but it wasn't a familiar brand. Whatever it was, it was good! Friend had the lavender oat latte. She took half of their regular dose of syrup, and says it was just perfect. She's not a huge sweet drink person, but says this was a perfect pick me up at 3pm. It wasn't very busy on a weekday afternoon, but we saw a couple who looked like regulars having lunch... and the lunch looked so good. Planning on a return visit for their food! Oh yea, and there's a nice, big parking lot in the back!
