I Love me some Staybridge. Always looking forward to staying with them. Super easy check in. Everyone was friendly and nice. Easy enough to connect up the Xbox. Solid Internet. I always love a suite with a kitchenette. Looks like they're taking all the Covid precautions; felt safe enough anyway. Nice that they're offering a cash and carry breakfast, heat em' up breakfast sandwiches though I do miss the norm. Miss that Staybridge happy hour! Was something fugly smelly when I first checked in and this was the first time I actually had to get another room because of it in so many years I can't even remember. The new room wasn't much better and I just think there's strange odors going on here. Couldn't quite place it, not sure what all that's about. Maybe it's the area. I don't know.

Staybridge Suits is a very nice and well designed hotel. There's a lot of positive things I can say about this hotel. But, there are also some negative aspects. I'll speak about the positive ones first. Then, I will get to the not so ideal elements. As anybody who's ever stayed at one of the IHG Hotel Suites locations understands, this hotel is made up around the fact that it's a place to live, more than just stay. Meaning, each room, or suites as they call them, comes complete with a large refrigerator, a small stove, a microwave, and all of the cooking utensils: glasses, dishes, silverware, and all of that kind of stuff you would need to create a great meal. Personally, I did not stay at this hotel for that reason. Nor have I ever stayed at a hotel with plans to make my own meals. But, particularly for families, and people who are undercover chefs, this place could be a great place to stay and create an excellent hotel room dining experience. Other than just the culinary focus of the rooms, in this hotel the rooms are very large, very well designed, and they have all the expected necessities that you may want. They have large drawers, so you can put all your stuff in them, a very nice closet, and, of course, a large expanse of bathroom. All of these elements, at this hotel, was All Good. No complaints. The problem I have with this hotel, and it is a big one, is that when I checked into my room, there was a massive amount of flies flying around. Plus, there was a number of ladybugs. It was kind of like a horror movie. I checked... I tried to open the windows, but there's absolutely no way to let those flies out. So, I have no idea how they got in there. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that someone must've opened the lower windows, that have an opening crank on them, to let some natural air in the room, and taken off the screens to clean them or something. Because that's the only way I could see that amount of flies and ladybugs could've gotten in. Now ladybugs, I have no problem with. Flies, on the other hand, nobody wants those things flying around in your room, particularly at night. I had to personally kill at least eight of them, just to stop them from swarming the room. This is completely unacceptable! I believe anybody would have the same reaction to this. Again, I don't know how they got in there, but I do know they were in there. And, I do know I was the one who had to kill them. Unacceptable, unacceptable, unacceptable!!! If it wasn't for that that, I would've given this hotel a much higher rating. The management of this hotel really needs to look into what their staff is doing, and manage them much more precisely. Because I'm sure any guest would've had the same reaction as I did. I will say that on the second night, the housekeeping staff did clean up the dead flies from the windowsill, and the remaining ladybugs. But, as I think we all understand, I should not have had to deal with the flies and the ladybugs upon my arrival on the first night. Other than that, and hopefully you don't have flies flying around in your room, this is an okay hotel to stay at. Yes, it is a bit noisy. I do know that they have tried to keep it more quiet by putting in thick glass and sound damping drapes, but in the later afternoon and into the evening, and especially in the early morning, you do get a lot of street noise. Just FYI. Overall, that's the story. Make of it what you will.

I stayed here a couple nights while on a work trip. Even though there was a line with only one employee, checking in was fairly swift. Because the room was booked and paid in advance by my employer, she asked for my last name and driver's license. It's a large room. What I didn't like were all the insects in the room, congregated on the windows and curtains mostly. Flies and lady bugs, more than half a dozen. Some were dead. I like lady bugs, I felt sorry for them, but I couldn't find out how they got in or how to get them out. One was even on the bed comforter. That's the part that lowers my score. At least clean up the dead ones. Aside from the flying insects, the suite reminds me of a studio apartment. It has a king size bed; a sectional couch with a couple foot stools; a flat screen on top of a dresser; desk; and kitchenette. The kitchenette consists of a full size refrigerator; dishwasher; large microwave; countertop stove; coffee maker; and toaster. The kitchen cabinets are filled with ceramic plates; ceramic bowls; wine glasses; glass cups; ceramic mugs; mixing bowls; a glass measuring cup; and salt and pepper in glass shakers. There are even metal utensils in the drawers. All the makings of a home away from home. There's plenty of parking behind the building. When it's quiet, you can see and faintly hear the highway in the background. I rented a car, but the hotel offers shuttle service. There's a book where you write down your room number. The shuttle picks you up and drives you to posted locations.

Clean, convenient hotel located on the South side of Madison. Spacious suites (with kitchenette) at reasonable rates. Friendly staff, complementary breakfast buffet, pool, exercise room, ample parking, pet friendly. Happy hour on weekday evenings. The only downside: one elevator is not enough for a hotel this size.

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend because we were in town for a wedding. It was nice and clean all around. Our room was large enough for our family of 4. Also nice because you couldn't really hear any of the neighbors. It was in a nice area of town with a super target just down the street along with a couple of restaurants. My only complaint that I had is that we went swimming at 9am Saturday morning because we had time to kill before the wedding and the pool was absolutely freezing. A worker came out of the pool maintenance room and I asked him why it was so cold..... they were not running the heater over night and he had just turned it on even though pool hours started at 5am. It took about another 1.5 hours to warm up.

Very spacious rooms that come with a fridge and everything you need to cook if you don't want to go out and eat. What is cool is that a major super market is just a one minute drive down the block. The TV has endless channels on a nice 50" TV. The showers are very nice and the storage space is everywhere. Bed is super comfy. They offer plenty of parking and the check in staff are friendly, courteous and professional. They also have a breakfast buffet.

I tried to book a hotel in a different area however due to some local events the hotels were booked. So i searched in the IHG (Holiday Inn Group) of hotels so that I could accrue some rewards points for my stay. I lucked out when I found this Staybridge. It had recently opened and the pricing was better than otherd in the area. Maybe to get some new customers in the door..who knows but they got me! It was super easy to find. It was just a bit off of McKee Road. Not too far from Buffalo Wild Wings. They have a small parking lot. Once I went inside, I was impressed. This hotel is new! Only been open for three weeks. We were greeted by a super friendly staff. The lobby was clean and inviting with a fireplace. The lobby lounge area is nice. The breakfast bar is located right by the sitting area. Off to the left side near the elevators is a small theater! This hotel also has a indoor swimming pool, an small outdoor basket ball court, a gym and an outdoor seating area with a firepit. Not bad amenities!! Itd almost like a staycation to be a guest here. Near the front desk is a snack/sundrie area..in case you need some food or other personal items. I liked it since they had several local craft beers and wine! The room was clean and nice. We stayed in a suite with a full suzed fridge, stove, kitchenwsre for cooking, dish soap, microwave, and the bathroom area even had a laundry basket. I would stay here again!

This is by far the best 5 star hotel I have stayed in for the price. You get a large suite complete with a full kitchen. A full breakfast with real bacon and eggs and a choice of juices or real coke products. It has a theater room, free laundry, a workout room, indoor pool, sport court, a putting green and a large outdoor patio with grills. While we were there, they had a social night complete with free burgers and brats, with wine and beer. Great hospitality. This hotel has only been open a month and is awesome. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the Madison / Fitchburg area. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It was a great experience.

Every time we are in town we stay here for a couple reasons. 1) it's close to our friends house. 2) It's pet friendly! 3) it's new and pretty nice. We have had mostly good experiences here but have encountered some less than stellar staff in the past but as of this most recent stay that seems to have been fixed. I also am sad that our room had no bottled waters in it and so we had to use tap water. Not a huge issue but not ideal. The suites are always clean, cozy and pretty nice so outside of little stuff the overall experience is positive and we will continue to stay here.

We stayed here during the pandemic and this place was awesome. Right by a grocery store so you can stock up the kitchen and avoid eating out every meal. They allow cats which was awesome for our elderly grandma cat who has to come with while traveling now. The bagged breakfast items were the perfect start to the day even during COVID-19 I felt safe here. I would stay again!
