Cheap and if that's what you need, well you will get that and hopefully better that what we, me and my work peers, experienced. Service was ok. Facilities look ok. Breakfast is ok. The issue for me and some of my peers was the room. The room I had was an upgrade with a king bed. As I entered the room, a strong smell hit me. I could not discern if it was mold or chemical in nature. Extremely strong in the bathroom, that looked clean. What it was, it was strong. In no less than 30 minutes in the room my lungs started to feel wrong. An hr on it I had to go to the lobby and ask for another room. It was taken care promptly. Got the same room just under the one I had but in the 1st room. Same smell. Less strong, but same smell. Went back to ask for another as I was not feeling that well at that point. and because my room was an upgrade that was not available ended going to a 3rd room with two beds. Luckily this one, that was on the other side of the hotel, finally worked. For one of my peers the AC in her room was not working. This was reported and she was told someone will go to her room. They never did so she ended up opening the A/C to notice there was something wrong with the wiring so she ended up fixing the ac on her own. No one ever showed up. No one.. The experience, needless to say, was not good. And to be honest I or we, my company peers, will not be staying in this facility the next time. That my room and the next one was unusable, that the AC in another room was not working and that no one was ever sent to get this fixed is inexcusable. Rooms should be confirmed ready for service. Both issues would have been obvious and both of the rooms I was given, should have not been offered. More when two of them could impact the guest's health. I hope that this will catch someone's attention. Criticism can be a gift. A motivator for improvement. Hopefully this will.

We came here from the west coast for a wedding. The room is 8/10, clean and the bed is comfortable. We got a King Suite which is a true suite. Two separate rooms, bedroom and front/living room. The couch has a pull-out bed which I used. The king bed was comfortable, but a basic mattress. The bedroom was oversized and has plenty of room, includes a desk and dresser, but no closet. The closet is located in the front room and is of basic size, and did include an ironing board and suitcase stand. The living room couch pulled out into one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on, and I was a corpsman that served with the marines. Many nights I slept on the ground, and that is frankly welcomed over doing another night on this poor excuse for a bed. It was a very thin mattress that sat on some of the sharpest and noisiest springs that has ever been created. It sounded like a deaf person creating the worst symphony known to mankind. Don't make the mistake of moving, or you may puncture your liver or spleen. The furniture is what you need expect when staying at a hotel. Square and basic. Picture "chair from a hotel" and that's what we have in the room. On a higher note, the room came standard with a microwave and fridge, fee for use. Complimentary water, and a coffee machine (single use, similar to a Keurig). The hotel offers a Continental breakfast downstairs that comes with scrambled eggs and sausage links. They have a waffle machine to create your own waffles. Some bagels and the rest was prepackaged items like mini muffins and pastries. The eggs and sausage were similar to what we used to serve in the military, it will break your fast, but don't expect anything fancy. At the front desk, they do have a refrigerator with sodas and water in it that you can charge your room or pay cash, they also have four kinds of chips and some candy, but the selection is very basic. Madison does seem to have a decent variety of food that you can just DoorDash to your room, which we did over the weekend. Directly across from the hotel, they have a decent pub style restaurant a Panera bread, sushi, and a Mexican restaurant, as well as a grocery store. In the same shopping center you will also find a Lego store! Since the selection of snacks is very limited, it's very easy to walk across the street to the grocery store and get yourself a KitKat or whatever rolls your fancy. All in all for the price of the hotel, I would say this was a wonderful stay, even though I can barely walk after sleeping on that pullout mattress. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any of our friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The rooms and the hotel itself have recently been refurbished - in fact, they were doing some deep cleaning of the carpet when I checked in. The only criticism I have - a very minor one - is the lack of variety in the breakfast selections. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. The hotel features a large pool and a conveniently located fitness center, not adjacent to the pool. Check-in was very quick and everything was clean and efficient throughout. I'm a tough critic of hotels as I traveled a great deal for business; this was one of the best hotels in its category.

I was very disappointed when I stayed here at the end of March as I normally didn't have many issues at all at this location... usually it's something small each time like there's a hair in the shower or there's a smudge on the mirror. I can look past these things.... but this time and the previous time I lost it... a sushi container from who knows when sitting in the fridge... and the time before the fridge smelled like Garlic... I know they couldn't have possibly opened the fridge.... much less even wiped it out. I think my favorite was the loose tile in the bathroom. Oh yeah the edges were sharp and I could have cut my foot wide open allowing who knows what germs and junk into my body. I'm guessing they never cleaned the floors or they would have known about the loose tiles and missing grout. The fella working at the time was kinda rude at the front desk that evening... and Because of this I couldn't bring myself to ask for a different room... he gave me too much anxiety... the only saving Grace was the clean bed and fresh sheets. Otherwise I 100% would have asked for his manager and not even allowed the shenanigans to happen. If y'all are wondering.... no I don't stay here anymore... and my company has also switched to another hotel chain because these things are a consistent issue for not just this Wyndham garden hotel.... but the other Wyndham Suites as well... I honestly wish I could give a worse review but apparently a one star is the lowest. So.... good luck with your stay... may you not have so many issues as I did... but I wouldn't ever go here again if I were you....

Front desk person was lazy, unhelpful, rude and a bit of a smart a%%. I did not appreciate her not having answers to very serious privacy concerns over data they wanted to collect. She just stated that she was just told to get all the information and shoved the form back at me. There's no way I am giving my personal address, license number and other personal information to a desk clerk. They do not need it for any reason. She was rude and flippant when I told her that I was not happy about the form. She would not get off her her duff from a seated position and acted like checking me in was a burden and a chore. I realize good help is hard to get but geez. Roomed smelled and the heater vent in the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. I won't stay here again and will avoid the brand in the future.

We rented the Executive Suite, 1 King Bed, Non Smoking, Jetted Tub. It was very spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff.

This hotel is just ok and needs improvement. Not what I have come to expect from Wyndham. The staff was nice, but the rooms were just ok and need to be updated. Also, it was super irritating that I had to prepay just so I could get the best rate. Whoever at Wyndham thought that was a good idea should be fired. An anti customer policy for sure. Also, they serve a free breakfast. Unfortunately this was the worst hotel breakfast I have had in years. Was like the Charlie Brown breakfast buffet. Super sparse, hardly any food, the staff member who was there to service the 'buffet' barely replenished the food. It was clearly a purposeful approach. They had a sign advertising their free breakfast with a beautiful picture of breakfast foods Made me laugh. I am enclosing pics of the actual food buffet so that you all can laugh too. Including breakfast is a huge selling point for me when I choose a hotel. This was so poorly done, that I will probably not stay here again. The pool. Ugh. Sooo filthy. Bottom was covered in dirt and filthy algae. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a year. Needs to be drained and scrubbed with bleach. Also, no towels and ripped furniture. I don't know. The place wasn't cheap, so for the price, it did not meet expectations. Needs Wyndham corporate to come in and crack the whip and also put some money in the place. There are probably much better options in the area.

We were staying here for business. The staff is bee nice and helpful. My room es cleaned well every day. The property is older and shows it. The staff here are doing their best to keep things up. Wyndham needs to invest in this property

It's a nice clean updated hotel, it offers a custom breakfast made to order, one at 1/2 price per room.. average $8 or so...staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean and we'll taken care of, rooms are big and beds are comfortable...I'll definitely stay here again... Nice heated indoor pool and hot tub and small gym with a cable system too...not just treadmill and bike..

First things first -- I liked the hotel and I would stay again. Our room was enormous, easy to get to, and quiet. The beds were comfortable. It was mostly clean except for the towel thing (see below.) The reason this gets 3 stars and not 5: 1. Very slow check-in process. Everyone in front of us had problems with their reservations, except for us (Whoo hoo). 2. The price was a little steep given that it's a ways away from Madison. 3. The towel in my bathroom turned funky colors after I soaked in in my bath. It was almost horrifying. It looked bright white and clean, and after a few minutes in the jacuzzi I watched stains develop on it like a photograph! (see photo) 4. There's no complimentary breakfast and I think for the price, it should be included. 5. The nearby restaurant said it was open until 10pm, but was closed before 9pm. So much for using our free drink voucher.
