I received as Christmas gift certificate for $100.00 in 2023 . Owner refused honor it at march 2025. The store is carrying same name , I would assume when buying business previous arrangements including gift cards will be honored . Very unfriendly person servicing customers almost as it was prison sentence to be there.

I went there to get a sandwich which they advertise. When I asked the guy at the deli, he was so rude after a couple minutes of waiting in line and flat out said we are not doing sandwiches today. No sorry or any explanation. I ended up just buying chips. I asked the register guy if they sell sandwiches on certain days. He said "I don't know about today with a smirk." The cash register didn't even know what's going on or why they weren't doing sandwiches. The encounter with the deli guy just felt so rude and I am a very understanding person. Would never go there and waste my time again!

Essentially a small convenience store with mostly specialty items from Europe, Poland in particular. Breads sold appear to be from a bakery in Chicago. The meat case has a handful of selections, as does the sandwich board, 6 sandwiches to be exact: ham, salami, turkey, roast beef, Canadian Bacon, and a sandwich of the week, which was also turkey this week, but with a different cheese than their standard turkey. I ordered the ham sandwich and my friend ordered the salami sandwich. We both added a raspberry paczki. The sandwiches were served on a fresh hard roll and were generously topped. I thought they were a great value for $5.75. I'd like to go back again and shop for Polish food items and soups from their freezer, as well as some of the other items in the store. Note that no one was wearing a mask, except my friend and me, and the store currently limits capacity to 8 customers to help with social distancing.

I absolutely love this place. They carry the best chrusciki around and their sandwiches on hard rolls are absolutely wonderful. The aroma alone when walking in is heavenly, and they are always a pleasure to deal with. It's always one of my first stops when getting back to Milwaukee.

Went in late, not long before closing. We were traveling from PA to MN. Ordered ood from the bar menu. The food and service were equally excellent. We were treated well and not rushed.

While shopping in the area I wanted some lunch so I stoped here because a deli sandwich sounded good. The place is on the side/back of a strip mall. I stopped here years ago looking for some home made heat and serve goodies but they really didn't have much and a sandwich was about all I could get to take with me. The store is small but they have modest deli items, liquor, beer, magazines, can goods, jar goods, refrigerated items etc. After looking around I walked up to the counter and ordered a sandwich and the woman said something I didn't want to hear, did she just say the deli is out of rolls so I go excuse me. YEP she said the deli has no rolls left to make the sandwiches, are you Fuck#ng kidding me, your a deli that's open and you can't make a sandwich. Does tomorrow's opener bring the rolls in with them to make the sandwiches, how will they make the sandwiches tomorrow when they open up. Well sh#t I'm already here so I grabbed some dry sausage thing which after tasting would work in a chowder/soup/gumbo I thought. I also grabbed a pre made hunters stew for the freezer because it was already frozen.

Extensive variety of European treats in a small space. There's no seating here and only 3 or 4 aisles to shop in and that makes it easy for a quick visit, however, i spent a fair amount of time checking everything out on one of my visits because they carry unique items and lots of it is printed in Polish and other languages. The people that run this place are super friendly and have a regular clientele. The deli counter has smoked meats, cold cuts and cheeses, etc. and in the aisles they have Polish beer, liquor, candy (some even contains alcohol), various condiments, pickled veggies, jams, canned herring, and plenty more. They even have a small refrigerator/ frozen section with cold single bottle beers, more smoked meats, perogies, hunter stew, and Czarnnina. There's a small self serve bakery section and when we recently stopped in on a Sunday for hot ham and rolls a gentlemen ahead of me got the last few remaining rolls. We got lucky however, minutes later an oven bell rang and fresh rolls were out of the oven and into a paper bag for us as we checked out. During the week they will gladly make you a tasty sandwich with generous portions. I had the roast beef and the Mrs had a ham sandwich. This place is a hidden gem! Prices are reasonable, and the service is good, check it out!

Great polish deli. Just FYI...Not a sit down deli. French Bread available is amazing. The 2 lb rye , bread rolls are crispy on outside and we can't wait to have some cold butter to break into them and eat them! We ordered ham to go... they also have hot ham on Sundays. Lots of choices of polish ham,polish cheese, sausage, etc. Frozen piergoi's... and like other reviewers said... lots of stuff you can't read on the shelves. Kid was freaked out by the ham in jelly... but the man in front of us ordered it (in polish) .. and we had to explain that this is the tradition of peoples childhood that our kids' generation just doesn't see anymore.

I just got a salami sandwich from here and it was the biggest sandwich I've ever seen. The thing was the size of a softball. She literally made two piles of salami and cheese slices, like they were for two sandwiches, and then PUT THEM BOTH ON MINE. I can't even. Love.
