Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday since I am a big fan of corn dogs and had read about this place. I perused the menu on the door and saw they had a few unique corn dog choices. Inside the clean pop-culture look is dominated by large kiosks on which you order food and drink. I am no bubble tea person so I went directly for the corn dogs. The kiosks were easy to use but when it came time to complete the order I was faced with a 3.5% non-optional "transition fee". If this was to offset using a credit card that is BS because they don't give you an option to avoid it by paying with cash. Then I noticed that they automatically added an 8% tip - really? That is sleazy. I immediately changed that to 0%. Don't dictate a tip especially in a "fast food" joint. Speaking of fast food it is not. I waited over 12 mins for one corn dog. It wasn't that busy on the food side. Only two food orders came out before my order and that was after I already waited 8 minutes. Too slow! The corn dog - beef and cheddar was OK. Actually the Korean style batter was very chewy - actually almost tough to bite through. Not sure if that is how it is supposed to be... I will not return.

The All Digital self-ordering kiosk thingy was not intuitive, kind of pain in the ass, but it did work. And it was cool and very, very Far East en vogue. A couple of young people in front of us at it down pat, but after we screwed around and tried to figure out and it took a while and someone helped us, sure enough to other couples after us were asking us for help. LOL With that being said, they Decor is super cool and super fun, super young and perfect for a college campus. Great colors, lots of white felt bright and open. The vibe inside was very friendly and fun, we were the only non-asians in there, and we are the oldest by double the age of the average customer. So while we stood out like sore thumbs, we had a great time and everyone was done talking and mixing together and seem to be having a nice hang out. It was Christmas night, and it was busy, so I can imagine what this is like during the middle of a semester. We ordered two drinks and they were absolutely delicious and fresh and really interesting flavors. We ordered one of the wacky Korean corn dog special options, a corn and potato mozzarella cheese dog on a stick. It was weird, the outside crunchiness was sweet and maybe Savory but the inside cheese had no flavor. Nonetheless, it was cool and I could see it, again, it being a fun thing for the Young crowd. The all gender neutral bathroom was clean although the hand blower didn't work. The young man preparing the drinks was super cool and friendly and helpful, and he was moving along quickly. Unfortunately, the girl on the other side of the shop, making the corn dog, took forever and a week, it took like at least 30 or 40 minutes for us to get a stupid corn dog. That was really annoying.

what is this pretty trendy good quality boba shop doing here LMAOOOO im used to socal boba so when my friends were like lets get madison boba i was like ok.... but like why was it actually pretty good. this feels like slightly above chain level boba but not quite as good for the price as socal boutique boba shops but like hey in madison this is probs a 5/5

I had never been to a Korean dessert or tea shop so this is really cool to see and Madison. We used the online ordering kiosk to order our tea. It was easy and quick. We had the grapefruit meets passionfruit. I loved the fresh fruits in it not too sweet. There was a lot of indoor seating and it was really clean and cute. I really want to try the mochi donuts next time!

Price is a bit high. The place was noisy with phone bings (receiving SMS from their order being ready). The person at the counter said they had no lactose free/dairy free boba milk tea options (this seems crazy. They had coconut milk tea... But he said it had dairy powder in it) Everything else was really good. The bubble tea I had was a roasted caramel which was great. The mochi donut was fantastic. There was ample seating though it got pretty busy. Overall nice place I'll come back for a donut.

I love that this restaurant is so different. You are greeted with large self ordering kiosks. Ordering is very easy, although it helps to peruse the menu before arriving. There are many places to sit and dine, but perhaps workers could wipe them down more often? Food orders and drink orders are picked up on opposite sides of the restaurant. Not a problem, probably more efficient. The original corn dog with mozzarella (no hotdog) was very crispy and gooey! Delicious. I was a bit surprised that it had a slight sugary taste. The Black Sesame Mochi Donut was delicious as well. The slightly gooey mochi pockets are awesome, and the black Sesame icing wasn't overly sweet. It was worth $3.50 just because it is just so different. YUM.

Soft launch and still figuring out some construction/AC/seating stuff but no excuse for cleanliness being a 0/5, crumbs everywhere on tables and chairs, floor sticky and oily, overall just not a good luck for a new spot right downtown. The seating layout is interesting and modern asymmetrical shaped, but did indeed feel awkward due to the lack of care, perhaps they are down some workers and struggling to keep up with new demand Order machines (there's 3) were easy to use. However, it took ages for drinks and food to be ready (they come out of 2 separate stations) and the number bell ding to let you know your order is ready is WAY too loud for dining comfort. Drinks: I had high hopes for their soy mochi topping (unique to them!) but was severely disappointed, tasted like flour.. maybe I just ordered the wrong thing? A friend that ordered osmanthus white peach did not like his, and when I tasted it, agreed that it tasted watered down (both taste and texture, think: ice melted in after 3h sitting out), NOT the vibe for a refreshing boba drink at that high price-- in my humble opinion. You know when shops just put random liquids into a jar with some form of chewable and call it boba? This one's close... I do like a fragrant tea and even unsweetened, but this one did not cut it for me. Threw these out. Friend #3 who ordered a passionfruit mojito w lychee jelly loved hers and would return! Mochi donuts: Overall not bad! Definitely pretty. Nice and crispy, for a fair price of $3.50 each, we tasted the strawberry and matcha ones, it was fun to peel them apart into bite-sized balls for sharing. Would not crave it though, and expected more mochi-QQ-ness but not bad. Overall hopefully will give them another chance when they fully open and hit the ground running, Given that it's right by Le C's I was hoping they'd be on par and an equal option for when you are on State St, but I was so unfulfilled that I went to Le C's and got another fix... sadly.. (sorry, I don't mean to roast them but I do hope this improves soon, I really want to like this place!)

Got a brown rice milk tea with mini taro balls and SO GOOD. On the sweeter side so adjust your sugar level accordingly. Love that this place has mini taro balls as a topping!! I prefer it over boba. Pro tip: don't drink right away and let the mini taro balls soak in some of the milk tea before drinking or else they'll taste pretty bland. Such a cute emoji-themed boba shop. Outlets everywhere and you can definitely hang out and get some work done there. Lots of tables and spaces to sit.
