I have always had a great time here. Friendly bartenders and customers. Lots to do, darts, pool and bar dice. Drinks are very reasonable.

As a visitor to Milwaukee wanting to check out the gay scene but also as a sports fan wanting to watch the LA Kings playoff game (NHL), I'm glad I came here. Drinks are cheap and the staff is friendly. I asked for them to turn one of the TVs onto the NHL playoff game and eventually they were able to do so without forgetting me. The space is pretty large with a good size gaming area towards the back. You can play darts, pool, and they have other machine games as well. There's even a White Claw game you can play to attempt to get one (like the stuffed animals). Very interesting! There's a ton of seating here so that worked out perfectly for us; and it definitely is a sports bar. They have so many TVs as well. I'd recommend this place if you're looking to watch sports!

I've been coming to this place for years. First Steve owned it, then Toby owned it, and now Allen owns it. The place is awesome great bartenders fantastic people to hang out with. The jukebox is amazing the place is just fun plenty of room to either be with friends or be alone step in you'll be totally accepted by everybody. Tons of TVs to watch the games on especially the packer games. Stop in have some fun I guarantee you'll have a good time. Stop in and say hi the New Year's Eve party is going on and we're ringing in 2023 with cocktails, food, champagne toast at midnight, a DJ playing all the hits and taking requests.

The bar has lots of street parking since it's on a corner of a wide intersection. This bar has been a part of my life since 2000 when a bartender there helped me come out to family and friends. When you walk in you feel like Norm from Cheers. It's a great laid back environment. There are specials during the week and Beer Bust on Fri, Sat, and Sun during the afternoon. The bartenders are friendly and experienced. There are baseball teams that are sponsored by Woody's. There is Buzz Time Trivia with interactive , Pool Tables, Air Hockey, Pin Ball and Darts and a dart league. You're in Milwaukee, so yes, there's bar dice.

So it was the end of the night for me, the other half and the bestie and we decided to stop here for a nightcap. The bartender (Roman) was real nice and made us feel welcome. The bar itself was empty, but we still had a good time nonetheless. The drinks were on point and very inexpensive (a big plus for us). They have a pinball machine, pool tables and darts...all of which were not being utilized (well, the pool table was in use) the night we were there. A couple guys came in and we had an....interesting....conversation. Won't go into details, but it was definitely...interesting. Next time we're in Milwaukee, we'll be back!

I started to drive home from a party and quickly realized I shouldn't be, so I pulled over and sought asylum in Woody's. I told the bartender my predicament and he made me a pizza and gave me a Diet Coke. Let me just say, as a straight cis lady, I had ZERO expectations - felt like a gate-crasher amidst the regulars (all men) who were there to hang with their mates. Would not have held a chilly reception against anyone. But I got chatted up, the staff was sweet and I felt totally welcome as log as I needed to stay. I owe this place and would love to go back under circumstances of my choosing

My favorite bar in Milwaukee. Friendly, great staff, and boozy drinks! It's the place to be for Packer games with free pizza at halftime and shots for everyone every time the Packers make a touchdown.
