Avis at MSP rented us a car with 55k miles and tires that were falling apart. After getting stranded in rural Wisconsin because the tire disintegrated, the company has refused to reimburse us for the tire replacement and other expenses, despite teling us before we spent the money that they would. The manager at our drop off in MKE assured us everything would be taken care of, and that he would get back to us within 48 hours. He never did, and I believe he was lying through his teeth the whole time (never saw his eyes since he was wearing sunglasses (!)). Utterly garbge company - take your business elsewhere.

the line was about 40 people deep so my husband checked in online and easily picked up the car. No issues. In and out. The issue for me was the car was not cleaned very well. We found the following items in the car: RNC pin [3rd row cup holder] rubber duckie in a plastic container (like from the $25 cents machines) [Under a seat] dental floss stick [Drivers side door] Drop off was super simple. Drive up. unload and be on your way. As much as we created a wild story about how the RNC got wild and our minivan was at the epicenter of it all... you should clean your vehicles better.

This place has the worst customer service. Our retal wr had request for reservation wasn't available lol. The person at the front desk was rude.

Reserved a car over four months in advance and they didn't have it when we checked in so they gave us a car we did not want (honestly why make a reservation for a certain car if you can't get it). Car gas tank was NOT full and of course they will expect us to fill it upon return (this really pisses me off). Let's not forget the cracked dirty windshield. Won't be going back to this place for sure.

Car was as advertised and after hours return was easy. Staff was courteous. Only negative was the long line at the counter to get the car.

Cleaning charge??? Really? I rented the car for 3 weeks and was charged $125 for cleaning excessive dirt and trash? Really? The only dirt in the car was normal getting-in-and-out-of-the-car brought in on my shoes on the floor on the drivers and passenger's side for 3 weeks. (I also forgot about a plastic cup that rolled under the seat which constituted as "excessive trash".) I called them and they said that they would not reconsider the charge. If you rent from Avis, be sure to vacuum the car before you return it. Sad.

Happy to have Avis right outside the airport. No wait for a shuttle, and an uncomfortable trip to the location. I decided to switch to preferred due to my travel schedule. Happy I did. Walked up to the counter mentioned my name and showed ID, received the keys and on my way. Great experience!

I made a reservation online to rent a car for a day traveling from Milwaukee to Chicago. I was issued a temporary paper license in IL because I lost my license. Upon arrival I gave the gentleman helping me my license and he took it over to the manager Yvette and he asked her "Are you good with that." she looked at me and told me that she needed a physical one. When I explained that I lost it and was issued my temporart she said that she would need another photo ID. But I just updated my ID as well and it is currently also a temporary. She then said she'd need a passport or police report which I have neither with me. I asked why she couldn't accept my VALID license and she just kept saying she couldn't take a photo of it in the machine. She didn't even try. She snubbed me from the beginning and had very poor customer service. I even called the corporate number and they said it's no reason she shouldn't have accepted my temporary license. It's a holiday weekend (Memorial Day) and rental cars are scarce. I'm just trying to get home after driving around Wisconsin the last few days and Yvette has made it impossible. I wish there was more that could be done. I don't understand how I can fly with my temporary but not rent a car at this location. She even said she'd accept my flight info but I was never flying. I don't understand people who go above and beyond to ruin someone's day. What a shame.

This should have been no stars. I've been in line for an hour. There is only one person working. And now they are servicing members ahead of those that have been waiting in line. Talk about MISERABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
