I had seen their guava margaritas on TikTok and stopped in to try them with a friend. Unfortunately, they were out of that flavor, but I was able to get a watermelon margarita instead (which was just as good). For my meal, I ordered a little of everything: a taco, tamale and enchilada with a side of rice. They all came out hot and a la carte on individual plates. I will say I loved their guac and salsa that we started with the most!! The mains that I tried were pretty good but there are better spots for this style of Mexican food in the city as I thought the dishes could have been a little spicier or more flavorful. Now let's talk atmosphere and service. The restaurant's patio is on the river and there is plenty of seating--making it fantastic for groups! The service was good until the end of our meal. We were left wondering if we pay at the counter or if they bring the check. When we went inside to ask we couldn't find anybody to check-in with. We also were charged for a side we did not order, but we got it taken care of! Overall, it was a pretty good despite a few bumps. I would give it another shot!

Tried Cozumel for a weekend lunch. The indoor area is huge and they have a nice outdoor patio overlooking the river if it's a nice day out. It's covered as well. The service was great and we ordered and received food quickly. I ordered the guava margarita and chicken fajitas. The margarita was good and there's lots of flavors to try. The chicken fajitas was a large portion and enough to share with someone. The food is pretty heavy so come hungry. Food was just ok. I think there's better Mexican in Milwaukee but it's convenient and easy to get to. There's also parking in the building

Stopped by with some friends for late night Piña Coladas and tacos. We got the pitcher to split which I would say is good for 3-5 people. I thought the piña colada was pretty good although wasn't the best I've ever had. We would say the tacos are pretty good- 5 star value tacos, $7.50 for 3. We tried the ground beef which had good flavor. I also love the complementary chips and salsa :) Our waitress was super kind and attentive throughout the night. We also sat outside on the patio which is perfect for summer night or day, there is also a large amount of indoor seating which is good for large groups. Would definitely recommend stopping by for margs and tacos!

First time here. Stopped in around 5:00 on a Saturday, and there were plenty of tables. Got greeted and seated right away. First thing to notice is that it's a big space with lots of seating, without feeling cramped. The decor is bright and fresh. Our server did a great job of settling us in. Got waters, menus, chips and salsa. We ordered guacamole right away, with a pitcher of margaritas. The chips were warm and the salsa mild. The guacamole is fresh, and chunky (might benefit from a little red onion or tomatoes). The margaritas were excellent. For our meal, we got a trio of tacos, taquitos mexicano, caldo siete mares (seafood soup) and a burrito (veggie). Everything about the meal was very good, with one exception. The caldo siete mares was very disappointing. Everything was overcooked, calamari rubbery, and a couple tiny pieces of octopus. This can be hard dish to get right, and unfortunately they failed. Overall a good experience. I would come back, but order something else.

We visited for lunch last fall and decided to sit on the patio seating, which is nice since it's situated above the Milwaukee river. We were able to take our pick from seats in the sun as well as in the shade. We had quick service, and our food was very good! I had the enchilada suizas, which is pretty much a go-to for me at Mexican restaurants. The portions were generous, and overall, it was probably a couple of dollars more for food here vs. somewhere on National Ave., but it's close to home, closer to downtown, and along the river, which are all a plus. We plan to come back!

The food was outstanding!! From the guacamole, queso, burritos, mole' enchiladas, special order fajitas-excellent reviews from each of us. Service was friendly and engaging. We look forward to our next visit!!

Tacos were kinda dry and just ok. Margs were good. Definitely on the more expensive side. It's a big space though and seems like it has potential.

The food is pretty solid here. They start you out with a big basket of warm tortilla chips and some salsa that should be enjoyable to most. My wife loves the enchiladas and the flautas and I've really enjoyed the steak tacos and shrimp tacos. My only complaint was the tostada I ordered was pretty soggy and flimsy, so I ended up eating it like a taco salad, basically. Nice margarita and Mexican beer selection and the pricing is fair on both the food & beverages. Parking can be a challenge depending on when you go.

At the site that was once Stubby's, situated along the Milwaukee River, is a new location for Cozumel, which is also located in Oak Creek. Having been to many Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee, my wife and I consider it the BEST. The restaurant is open and airy, and the outside has a great view of the river. The service is fantastic and attentive, and the food is fantastic. I seem to be stuck on the chimichanga (shredded beef) and I can't think of another place anywhere that's better. Everything is made in house, including the chips and salsa. Located near another restaurant that service mainly tacos, this is an authentic Mexican restaurant that blows the other chain away. I always get a margarita and just found out that the Monday, Tuesday and Thursday happy hours are $2.99. If you like Mexican food, I strongly recommend checking out this Cozumel restaurant and enjoy it?

Awful , awful awful , I read the reviews and was excited to come to this establishment however there was no one at the door to seat us for 15 mins all the staff walked around like chickens with head cut off no organization just ridiculous like do not ever come here if you want a quality dining experience!!!
