Took the 11:30 historical cruise, but bridge # 5 would not raise, so they turned around and returned to dock at 12:45. They offered to accommodate us on the 2pm "fun" cruise or give a refund. We stuck around and took the fun cruise with the historical narrative added to accommodate us from the historical cruise. The cruise was OK and interesting. The water was a little choppy out in the harbor and the wind got cold being that it was October. But overall a fun & informative experience.

The boat had generator issues. An air or service. Thank goodness because the loud horrible music shot off. Tour was cut short. It was supposed to be a Taco Buffet. Greasy taco meat, cheese onions lettuce and salsa.

Easy to book online, easy to find boarding location. Good parking options nearby but expensive in secure lots. Street parking takes cc or coins. Employees were friendly. Boat was clean. Tour operator was knowledgeable. The only negative is the narrator gets ahead of herself pointing out spots and buildings on the shore. That makes it hard to follow, so you're not sure where to look. Drinks and snacks on board for a fee. I would recommend.

We attended the fiesta friday cruise that set sail at five thirty till seven o'clock. The cruise itself was enjoyable. The weather was great. Unfortunately, the buffet lacked any kind of excitement. I got served better Mexican food in high school. For $35 dollars, I could have ordered everything off the taco bell menu and enjoyed that better. The only option you had were nachos chips or soft shells, ground beef with only cheese, lettuce, salsa sour cream and jalapenos. I understand you pay for the cruise as well. But I've been on other cruises, and the dinner was great, this lacked any kind of fiesta flair.

I took my friends who were visiting from the West Coast on a cruise of the Milwaukee River and the outer harbor. Many things about the boat cruise were great: the boat was clean and looked well-taken care of; there were fairly comfortable seats on the fore and aft of the boat, and the captain and bar staff were friendly and professional. However, the tour guide was absolutely terrible. At the beginning of the cruise, she said she'd only talk about things on one side of the boat, leaving those on the starboard side staring at things she never discussed. When she had nothing to add on her own, she said she would be reading from the book (which seems unprofessional--if you need to read from the book, why would you say that? Just make it sound natural!). She made a point of saying she'd been raised in Milwaukee, but wasn't knowledgeable about many of the things she pointed out. She wondered aloud about the cost of the apartments and condos along the lakefront or the river, and she discussed the race/origin of the people living in the Third Ward and surrounding areas so much as to sound borderline racist. (My friends and I were joking about her lines "And then the Italians showed up" and "then the Blacks came and got their jobs" for the rest of the weekend.) While she had an interesting knowledge of some of the features of Milwaukee, it was often presented with cringe-inducing details (she called the Allen-Bradley Clock Tower the "Polish Moon"--at least three times--because of all the Polish immigrants who lived in the neighborhood, and made a point to repeatedly say "they didn't have very much money"). Her word choice and attitude made her seem like she hated Milwaukee. This attitude and "cringe factor" was not entertaining and did not enhance the boat ride. The rest of the staff seemed uncomfortable with much of the tour guide's commentary--as did several of the other passengers. The tour guide makes or breaks cruises like this. I'm hoping that this guide was an anomaly, because the rest of the experience was delightful.

Disappointed. Boat has limited space outside for viewing and the windows do not open to get outside air and better viewing and picture taking. Narrator was good but sound system was not so very hard to hear. Window sills were dusty.

Enjoyed the history tour with a group of coworkers on a beautiful day. We seated ourselves outside on the bow of the boat and could clearly hear the presentation. Learned about the various buildings and history of the area as we went down the river to Lake Michigan.

We had a great experience on the Pon Tiki boat for our bachelorette party! Covered and uncovered areas, very spacious. There was even a bathroom on the boat and it was very clean!
