Först av allt, jag har aldrig ätit något här, så jag kan inte tala med matutbudet. Drinkarna, är dock bra. Jag har hört många klagomål både i och utanför denna plats om hur dyrt allt är, och hur länge det tar att få en drink. Jag får det, drinkarna är ganska dyrt, och det tar för evigt. Å andra sidan de äro fulla av läckra alkohol drinkblandningen, du behöver inte mycket många att ha en fantastisk tid och varje program är mycket intrikat. Du kan inte få en snabbt drink när du har 14 ingredienser och bar som är stolt över sig själv på serverar samma drink till varje kund. Du alltid vet vad du kommer att få, och det är att bli den samma drink du älskade förra gången du kom. Det blir upptaget, så dela en tabell med främlingar. Utmärkt tiki bar med en mycket fin samling av autentiska tiki dekorationer. Ett brett urval av tropiska drycker och glasvaror. Mai Tai var ganska bra, som var många av de andra exotiska drinkar att vår grupp försökte. Bartendrarna var vänlig och svar på många av våra frågor. Lyckligtvis var vi med lokalbefolkningen som visste området eller kanske skulle jag ha varit tveksamma till att våga sig här, men vi kommer att komma tillbaka!

Vad området är komplett utan en tiki bar? Inte Riverwest. Jag älskar det här stället och har gått i flera år. Drycker är dyrt ( $ 7-9), men du behöver bara 2 eftersom en tredje drink slutar oftast natten. Prova en av deras specialiteter men inte vara blyg eftersom de gör varje drink med kärlek. Jag frågade bartendern att göra mig sin favoritdrink och nu är det min favorit drink också (mörka och stormiga).

Det är en mindre plats så att de kanske gör du vänta om de är på plats. Bara något att tänka på. Bra ställe för par eftersom det är roligt och romantiskt. Se till att du har en taxi redo att få dig hem, trodde :)

Detta var min make favorit Tiki bar vi åkte till i Chicago/Milwaukee område! De verkligen slå huvudet på spiken. Våra Tikiphiles vänner rekommenderade Grunden för oss. Atmosfären är fantastisk. Drinkarna är starka och ack så god! De inte serverar mat där, men du kan gå över gatan och ta med mat tillbaka till baren. Du måste stanna till och ta en drink eller två!
