Let me just say that whomever hired ANDREW as the front desk clerk did an amazing job! Andrew is probably the best employee I've ever come across. He continuously went out of his way to make my family feel like we were the only people staying at this hotel. What an amazing person!

The road traffic outside on a Friday night sounded like an F1 track. Worst night of sleep.

Spacious rooms, modern lobby. Full amenities equipped with a TV, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker etc. We had a king size bed and it was comfortable. Separate couch sitting area was a plus. Had a restful sleep after taking a warm shower. Breakfast was filling - sausage, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, toast, coffee and juice. We paid for in/out parking privileges but didn't get to use it at all since the hotel was within close proximity to the public market, waterfront, museum and downtown Milwaukee skyline. From the 3rd flr, our hotel view looking down was the patio area overlooking the fire pit and bright red Adirondack chairs. Overall, had a great one-night stay at this place.

Home2 Suites By Hilton - Milwaukee Downtown, WI 515 N Jefferson St, Milwaukee 53202 I doubt I will stay at your location again. I had made my reservation in February knowing that these dates would be busy due to Summerfest. My confirmation had rates of $286 for each Friday & Saturday night. When checked in, your desk person quoted $467 & $367 for Friday and Saturday. When I brought up that my confirmation had the lesser rate, she rudely shut me down. Refused to discuss it. Only stating it is 'Summerfest'. No manager available to step in. I would expect that Hilton credit the difference back to me. And yes, I did take the Sunday night off my stay several days before coming. The reservationist handling my change request did not inform of any rates changing. Nor did I receive a new confirmation. Other things that were disappointing at this stay. The AC in your main areas failed. This is out of your control, but I would have expected the hotel to communicate to guests the issue and expected recovery. Even signs in the lobby. Going back to the front desk. The group working seemed less than interested. Some with feet up on part of the counter. Unprofessional. Did not acknowledge or greet me as a Hilton Honors. There was a young girl we saw several times through the day Saturday. One time sitting with and talking to the car valets. Another time behind the counter. Doubt she was a child of a guest. Guessing she was a child of an employee. And that this happens regularly. On a positive. The car valet service was very good. But then they are not part of the hotel employment.

The breakfast was okay and staff generally helpful. What makes this a 1 star is the 44$ valet parking with a 25+ minute wait that makes you want to slit your own wrists. Why is this even a Hilton?

There are two hotels at this Hilton complex (Tru and Home2 Suites) which is really nice. Best of both worlds. The lobby is very inviting with various work stations, eating areas and a lounging area which included a pool table. Also, this area serves as the breakfast area in the morning. Since I had checked in digitally, I was able to go straight up to my suite. For a 3 star hotel, the suites are really a good size with full amenities with a kitchen area (with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave), sitting area and sleeping area. There's a removable wall between the sitting and sleeping area. The suite was really maintained well. Just like other Hilton hotels, the bed was really comfortable. The staff was very personable especially the agent that was working the PM shift. The breakfast was what I had accepted for this type of hotel. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the outdoor sitting areas. Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel and would recommend this property for families or people that need more long term stay.

I stayed at Home2 in Milwaukee in July 2022 while traveling for my company's annual meeting. I originally booked my stay through the Chase Travel Portal and everything seemed fine. I arrived on the property to check in and was told by the front desk that my reservation had been cancelled a couple weeks before. I thought it was a mistake but they were able to show me that communication had been sent to Chase about the cancellation. The cancellation happened because my own company exercised their right to the block of rooms they reserved - which caused over 100 reservations for others to be cancelled. Fast forward to accepting that my reservation was cancelled, I tried finding another room in the city but there was NOTHING! Absolutely nothing - the chase travel support team wasn't able to find anything. The reason this property gets 4 stars from me is because of JADE. Jade was only a couple days into working for the property and was incredibly proactive and helpful with helping me to find a room. She went way out of her way to make sure we found a solution. She called other properties within the Hilton network, called other hotels outside the Hilton network - she helped us problem solve for a solid 2.5 hours. At the 2 hour mark we were almost at the end of our wits and had no other ideas. Then, a lightbulb went off - she realized there were 3 reservations that had not been checked in yet. She called them to see if they were still coming. To our great luck, the 2nd person she reached said they weren't coming because they got a cancellation notice. JADE immediately booked their room for us and we were able to stay on the property during our whole stay with no further incidents. I am incredibly grateful for JADE and her problem solving. She saved our trip and us from being homeless for a night haha. THANK YOU JADE!

Rooms are large. Love the way the room is configured as it is longitudinal with a sofa, little kitchen, etc. There is no view from my room. Ample shampoo and conditioner in recyclable containers. Cons are: No restaurant within the premise and the receptionist was not friendly when I got checked in. She could use a smile. Her sour expression matched the weather.

Decent hotel but unsatisfactory experience and quality, especially being a Hilton Honors Gold member. I felt like the service didn't match the quality you should receive as a status member. Upon arrival, the front desk gave me a room on the ground floor, which was surprising given that 1) usually status members receive a higher level room and 2) I had my preferences set to high level room in my profile, which looks like was disregarded. Anyways, I asked for a higher level room since ground floor is a little questionable, and the "best" they could do was give me a room on the 2nd floor all the way in the back of the building out of 6 floors... like cmon. The room was okay, but I don't think they even checked it before sending me there. There was pepperoni on the floor, and someone's old key card in our sheets.. Like what? To top it off, we had no conditioner left in the pump and very little shampoo left. Also woke up to heavy stomping from the room above us all through the early morning. Woo! In the bathroom, usually they give at least a makeup wipe or bar of soap or something, but nope nothing. I usually don't use my "status" as an excuse to get better service or quality, but if Hilton hypes your status up then I at least expect a good quality room, service and experience. Pretty disappointing.

We arrived here for a two night stay. The stay was booked via Expedia, and was a pay at property reservation. TV didn't work No soap in shower Window Blinds (which were electric) did not work We alerted staff. Next day, nothing was addressed. We alerted staff again. Again, nothing was addressed. A staff member our last night, and another the morning of check out said they would take care of one night stay - but I had to contact expedia. I contacted expedia, they said the hotel was the billing property and they had to handle the refund. Expedia tried to call the hotel and never was able to get through (shocker).
