I had a wonderful afternoon on a chilly April afternoon at Zocalo, an urban food truck park with a tavern in the middle, so fittingly Milwaukee. Hot Box Pizza was our choice, and the pizza was very good, with a crisp thin crust and a pop of fresh flavors. Cheese bubbled up and made a mess of my beard. That's a good sign of a pizza worth having. The Zocalo is five minutes from my new place, and it will be a fixture as I explore my new Hood.

This is really good pizza! We tried Hot Box today for the first time and, besides a little mix up with the Square app, it was all worthy. The veggie pizza has lots of fresh vegetables, the margherita is absolutely perfect, and the cheese one comes with fresh tomatoes. It's about $10 a pie and you can be assured that this one pie could be the perfect lunch or dinner. Mindy you, they close from 5-7pm most days, so it's more of a later dinner in such case. They were super nice and graceful about the delay in the order due to the app, and it's quite awesome to have a new great spot for pizza. Check them out!

Had their pizza at Chill on the Hill. Better to describe it as a flatbread (not a knock, just FYI) I think they were in kind of a rush because the even though the crust was cooked, the cheese was undercooked and the overall pie was way overseasoned/salty. I'm assuming this had something to do with the rush, because the other reviews are not bad. That being said, I would probably not have them at this venue again.

Very, very different in a GREAT way! Woodfired pizza, but with a very unique crust and thankfully a LOT if toppings! I had the margherita, a cheese/pepperoni/sausage, and the burratta! Pizzas were great, burratta was a 8/10 simply due to my wish for sightly less crisp bread. The crust on the pizzas is perfectly charred, the "sauce" is basically chunky diced tomatoes which is a great twist! Far more toppings than usual wood fire which proportions perfectly with the not too thin, perfectly cooked crust! GO TRY THIS TODAY if you like pizza and want a refreshing new take on the classic

Located in Milwaukee. They make such good pizza here! I got to talk to the owner and he just opened up. He designed & built his food trailer. It has a wood oven/stove in it. His food gets some heat to make the perfect crunch to the crust and the wood fire gives the pizza a nice smoked flavor. He serves other food items besides pizza , huge chicken legs and wings. They have smoked Mac and cheese and more. The owner showed me the inside of his place and it is pretty cool. Very clean and well organized. He made up my pizza I ordered and let me take some pics. I got a sausage, onion and mushroom pizza. The pizza in like a personal pan, comes with a garlic bread knot on top and peppers. The pizza cooks fast. Maybe in 8-9 mins. As stated earlier crust has the perfect crunch and you immediately will taste the sauce along with that nice smoked flavor. It is a flavor explosion/bomb. Like this seriously is the best pizza I have ever had. I didn't go to NY or Chicago to get it. I got it from a food trailer n Mlwke. Plenty of outside seating. For the warmer months and there is a big screen TV. I dont see that there is no indoor seating as a drawback. This place brings in a lot of orders from businesses near by and very large orders it sounds like. In cooler months just get your food to go. You can order your food. Wait in your vehicle. When it is ready, drive away with your food goodness. Call ahead to pay/order. Drop on in and make sure you leave a review to help this guy get off the ground. Spread the word. A lot of you people that watch my reviews on social media will do what I do when I see a review on a new place.... You will want to check it out. So check this place out and leave a review! I got pizza from here at the night market and I was a little disappointed. My pizza had about 6 pepperonis on it and the cheese was barely melted. As well as the dough felt soggy and almost like naan bread texture. I have a feeling this pizza is very good when fresh. Overall the flavor was good and the service was good too, however I feel like for the quality of the pizza it's a little overpriced. I brought it home so I could reheat it and eat it when it was warmer

I came across this food truck today at Schlitz park and decided to give them a try. I was a little skeptical about the pizza because the menu said the sauce was chunky so I asked what that meant. A man on the food truck replied it means it won't be dry. So I ordered a pepperoni pizza. I love a pizza with a good sauce. To my surprise this pizza didn't really have sauce instead it had like diced tomatoes everywhere. This was new to me but I tried a slice. The taste was okay but it didn't seem to have sauce at all. Then I thought maybe this isn't a pepperoni and thought they mistakenly gave me a margherita pizza because of the basil pieces and tomatoes so I took it back. The male owner ignored me initially. However a women began to assist me. I asked what the difference was with my pizza and the other. They showed me and I asked about the sauce again because my pizza seemed dry, it was not saucy I just had chucks of diced tomatoes. Before I get to what my solution could be or any other options, the owner yells out "Well that's the sauce we have!" Which startles me. 1 because he was just ignoring me 2. I was in a conversation with someone else and 3. Why are you yelling at me? I asked why he was being rude while I'm only inquiring about the pizza. He hollers it again. Now I'm confused on why I'm being berated for trying to patronize this business? Getting yelled at so sternly by this man was not on my bingo card for lunch today. I ended up getting my money back because why try to be kind to someone who's committed to being rude? Which is ironic because their sign outside the truck says they don't tolerate rudeness but I suppose it's okay to dish it out. There were so many different ways that could have been handled. If you're confused about the "chunky" sauce. It's not like chunky salsa or spaghetti sauce with chunks. It doesn't seem like there's sauce at all. It's diced tomatoes. Maybe if they were clearer or all on one accord on what "chunky sauce" means I wouldn't have had to learn this the hard way. For that I'd say the customer service sucks. No pics because I didn't initially plan to request a refund.

Stopped by for some late night pizza and we were convinced to also try the Mac and cheese! It was pretty good for late night food and the owner was really friendly (and obviously a good salesman). The picnic tables, string lights, and fire pit in front of the food truck were a nice touch and the TV playing wrestling was fun and unexpected. Definitely give them a try!
