This station is pretty great. I know they have Amtrak and Greyhound, and as far as Greyhound stations go, it's a fine spot. I once had a Greyhound delay, and their employees gave me no options - an intermodal worker, I think a custodian, took it upon himself to let me know that an Amtrak thruway bus would get me to my destination sooner. Appreciated that a ton. They do a good job of keeping beggars out, and they keep the place clean. Their dining spot has a new-ish owner, after being closed for some time, so it's nice to see that running again. They also have a phone charging station now, which is much appreciated. My gripe is that the sound of the Greyhound announcements is awful. It is so difficult to hear what they are saying most of the time. More than Greyhound busses dock there, and some drivers come in to actually announce where to line up. Also, as great as they keep the place clean, the bathrooms are very large, and they block people from entering while cleaning is taking place. That is a long delay for someone seeking to use the restroom before boarding when not much time is available.

This station's pretty smooth. It's both a train stain and a bus station, serving Amtrak, Greyhound, Flixbus, Badger Bus, and I believe others. Amtrak can take you down to Chicago in 90 minutes on either the Hiawatha or the Borealis, or out to Minneapolis, as well as other routes. The Hop streetcar is very, very close, which will take you into the city for free. Overall it's a great station, I'm really only keeping a star off because it's a fairly new building, not a cool old train station with architecture and history.

Well maintained station and train cars. Travel to Chicago went very smoothly. Trains were on time and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the trip

Get new bus drivers. The bus driver for bus 58 seen my ticket and my name on the itinerary and was trying to give me a tough time saying it's my fault my train was late to pick me up. Train 339 from Chicago actually had friendly service despite all the delays. My honest opinion don't get connected trips through the Amtrak app. They'll have you on the phone with customer service not being helpful whatsoever for an hour for something you'll end up being able to solve yourself on the train/bus if you're lucky.

Took a trip from Milwaukee to La Crosse for the first time since the pandemic. A ticketing mixup meant I that I ended up with a wheelchair accessible room instead of a regular seat (I accidentally booked a seat on a bus which obviously wasn't wheelchair accessible). Too expensive for such a short trip, but it was either that or wait three days to go home, which I couldn't do. The room was small but nice and actually well designed.The staff was attentive and nice. The food, which was included with the ticket was better than I expected. If I ever take a longer trip on Amtrak, I would definitely consider one of these rooms (on purpose this time).

The Amtrak Station is always such a seamless experience for me. I genuinely show up 5 minutes before the train leaves and walk right on. There is only one "gate" to cross through to the platform, so never any confusion. The station itself is very modern, light, bright, and clean. Plenty of comfortable seating if you find yourself needing to wait for a train or bus. There are vending machines in addition to the small cafe available for food, drinks, smoothies, and snacks. The ticket counter is always open for information and purchases as well so head there with any Qs. I oddly love taking the train (most often to Chicago, just as I did this time), so I look forward to passing through this station.

I've traveled through my fair share of Amtrak stations over the years, and Intermodal Station is conveniently located, clean, has lot of natural light, and seems efficiently run. I traveled via Amtrak from Chicago to Milwaukee and back. The trains ran on time, which is honestly the biggest deal to me. After having been stuck at the Amtrak station in Albany, NY on more than one occasion (typically, on my way to Boston) for 4+ hours? Having the trains kept to an effective schedule is a big deal to me. Folks waiting for a bus tend to sit on one side of the station, while folks waiting for their train tend to sit on the other... just out of convenience to the pick-up location around the station. Boarding for the trains is an organized experience. I didn't drive to or from Intermodal Station given that I was only in Milwaukee for 2 days. Parking in the station lot itself is somewhat minimal - and there's a cost, of course. I just found it most convenient to take a Lyft from / back to the station... but in terms of dropoff if you do take something like Uber or Lyft? You basically get dropped off right at the door to the station. It's very easy. TL;DR Would definitely take an Amtrak to or from Intermodal Station when back in the area - very pleasant experience. Bonus points for the reliable WiFi on the train as well.

This is a perfectly servicable train station. It's clean with a few restaurant stalls, vending machines, and shops inside. The signage isn't great, and the Amtrak service desk was empty in the middle of the day. The drop off lane out front is a nightmare, and the way that they organize boarding of the trains is really disorganized and crowded. But, I appreciate that it was clean with plenty of seating and bathrooms.

Pretty upset since there was no WI- Fi. Not sure what the problem was. Could not find water. Either free or sold in the bottle. Also, had an issue with my points and there was a long wait on the phone to get it resolved. Just gave up.
