Date of visit: 9/16/23 Unless you're getting a slice to go, don't do it! One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Place an online order for two pizzas and breadsticks at a couple minutes past 5 p.m. for pickup at 545. I walked in at 550, gave my name and the cashier said, "It's not up yet." And just looked at me blankly. No follow up statement regarding when it might be ready, apology for it not being done at the agreed upon time, or even where I should wait while it was being finished. I retreated to behind a half wall to wait. And wait. And wait some more. Meanwhile a host of other people came in to get their orders. None of theirs were ready, either. Also during this time, a girl that could not have been more than 8 years old went behind the counter and grabbed a wash rag to wipe down tables and booths. 40 minutes beyond my pick up time I finally left the restaurant. Though the first time they gave me someone else's order. I was several blocks away from the restaurant before I decided to check the slip that accompanied the pizza. It said, "Aaron." I went back and when I told them that I was Warren and they gave me Aaron's order, she said, "Aaron. Warren." and shrugged, like they were similar names. When I finally did get my order, I popped open the boxes to confirm that I had the right order, but it wasn't until I got home that i noticed that the breadsticks were not fully cooked and the five sauces that I was supposed to get with the party pan of breadsticks was missing.

I am a genuine, New York pizza guy, however, I enjoy Rockys pizza. They have a good recipe for thick crust. Pizza in my opinion. Their sausage is outstanding, and the sauce and cheese are good. The problem with Rocky's is that it is so inconsistent that it bears passing on. You never know if you're going to get a very yeasty tasting crust or plain tasting crust. You never know if you were going to have a fully cooked pizza or semi uncooked pizza. You never know if the crust is going to be crisp on the bottom or soggy. You never know how thick the crust is going to be, or how hot the pizza is going to be. further, you never know when the pizza was made. Again, I enjoy the perfect product. The chances of you scoring a perfect slice at this location are pretty slim at Rocky's.

Super slice was undercooked and sweaty from being under the heat lamp, cashier did not want to get up from her desk to give service. Pizza was haphazardly made. All around that experience.

Nice location - quaint and clean inside. Looks like it's more for carry out than dining in, but that's fine by me. The pizza was good - as you would expect from any other Rocky's. The family breadsticks were not so great - almost like the yeast didn't rise. They were dense, and kind of "shriveled". Just not up to par with what we've known other locations serve up. The folks were friendly - no issues there.

My daughter I do not get a chance to go to Rocky's often but today on Nov 13th @ 3:13p I was in the area. We ordered 2 orders of breadsticks w/ cheese sauce; I usually wait for fresh breadsticks but the worker Jania said they were made 15mins ago so I said okay they should be good. I ate my breadsticks & they were not good like remember; not sure if they were older than 15mins or if the recipe changed. From now on, I am just going to wait for freshly made breadsticks because I was disappointed especially since they are $3 an order & extra for cheese sauce. I will try another location next time & definitely request for freshly sticks to give them another try.

Most horrible Rocky Rococo's ever! We went on a Thursday 5:30pm expecting a crowd. Place was empty, smelly and dark. All the chairs were on top of the tables. Nowhere to sit. I asked the attendant if it was open and she said it was as I looked at the tables with chairs on top. She seemed not to care at all. The menu is extremely limited. Only had Peperoni and the one with everything. Very lame. We left without eating anything never to return.

Rocky Rococo Pizza and Pasta (Nov. 2, 2022) This pertains to the Glendale WI store. Part of the Bayshore mall, the front entrance faces West Silver Spring Drive. Facility is pretty large, and consists of chairs and tables for indoor dining. This was a short visit after a red eye flight to Chicago O'Hare airport, an over 90 minute Amtrak ride from Chicago Union Station after an almost 3 hour delay because the 8:25 a.m. train was full (Unusual for a Wednesday morning departure.) and a 1+ hour ride from the Milwaukee Intermodal station to the Motel 6 in Glendale, WI. (Ah, the joys of budget travel with its unexpected surprises.) Due to the delays, and my nagging hunger after getting lost in the new unfamiliar area, I decided to drop by the pizza joint for a quick take-out so I can eat immediately after I checked in. I had planned for a bigger meal the next night after some extended touring originally, but plans changed accordingly. Not too many people were in the place around 3pm so I was catered to quickly. Decided on a slice of sausage, as I gauge pizza places by the quality of the Italian Sausage served (Taste variations of Pepperoni is very minimal wherever you are at!). It was about 25 minutes later than I got to eat. My first bite was unimpressive. (I've been brought up with Chicago pizza for a long time many years ago, and gauge the quality of pizza based on those taste experiences.) The cheese was good and pretty thick, the sauce was on the minimal light side, the sausage was fine but did not standout. The biggest problem was the crust. I always knew pan pizzas to have thicker crusts, but this crust was only slightly thicker than a regular thin crust. That likely softened a bit since it was in a sealed takeout box for some time, so it was not as crispy as I would have liked. Perhaps eating the slice while it's hot would taste better. Overall, it was an average tasting pizza. I shall have to try out more offerings when I ever get back to the Wisconsin area to make sure my assessment was accurate. Overall, a 3 out of 5 star rating. Will definitely not shy away from this pizza place, but will likely not be my first go-to. (This review is based on a one slice experience. Please do also take into consideration of my exposure to Chicago pizzas in the past and using that as my gauge. Check out my review of Nancy's on Broadway Street in Chicago, which I believe is the ultimate stuffed pizza in the world) Happy Eating !!!!

There was an employee (woman with piercings in her mouth) who was sitting down and eating when I came in. When I placed my order, she proceeded to grab my food without washing her hands or putting on gloves (mind you, she was just eating). I asked if she could grab my food again, but this time wash or glove her hands before doing so. She ignored my request, claiming that she was eating her food with a fork therefore it didn't matter (not mentioning that she had also touched her mouth), and grabbed the food again without cleaning her hands. I was disgusted, so I requested a refund. I usually enjoy RR, but this was a bad experience. Asking an employee at a food restaurant to wash or glove their hands should not elicit such a poor response, especially during the winter cold and flu season.
