Place is GREAT!!!!! A true Milwaukee neighborhood tap. What stands out is the PIZZA. Get here by 4 PM if you want to get on that pizza list. It's absolutely delicious and made fresh. Great bartenders, OG Milwaukee ambiance, friendly atmosphere despite a LOT of regulars! Love the Bubbler, and esp. love the name, since I'm south side Milwaukee born/raised.

Some friends suggested this was Milwaukees best pizza and- as bar pizza goes anyway- I think they were right! Yum. Good service, cheap drinks and a perfect divey vibe. Will be back.

tl;dr townie bar with amazing pizza place inside! This place is the best version of a divey and townie bar - as it has the cheap drinks and friendly bartenders, but is cleaner and more put together than a lot of others. There are two main reasons you'll see me here, as many things are very nice, but fairly average at this bar: 1) I live pretty close by 2) It has some of THE BEST thin crust pizza I've ever had here This sportsball-inclined bar has amazing pizza from Vinchi's (see my separate review of the pizza place for more explanation of this)... as it operates out the Bubbler kitchen and you can only pay with cash there. The Bubbler has plenty of regulars and friendly faces and you can get some other decent food on the menu, but I'm there for the pizza and a beer or two when I'm really craving some za.

I stopped here for a beer and ordered a cheesesteak sandwich from the pizza place in back, it's all in the same building. The bar is one of those friendly neighborhood dives where the bartender and patrons are friendly and welcome strangers and make them feel at home, not a clicky place. The bar has a few taps that's not all domestic which was great for me and I had some beer that was not bad but I can't remember what it was called for the life of me. The bar itself is long with a big circular end as you walk in and some tables and chairs on the left as you walk in. The place has plenty of tvs and a great sound system connected to it. My pizza place experience was not as good as my bar experience because they were totally opposite but I did enjoy the bar aspect of my visit.

Overall Score: 3.25 Stars (Could Be Great) One of the best pizzas I have had was inside this friendly neighborhood bar! The bar itself is very friendly, has a great beer list. Sports oriented. Service was excellent. They went out of their way to make a business traveler feel right at home. Be advised, cash only. But its worth a stop by the ATM. The prime reason to head into the Bubbler is Vinchi's Pizza which is outstanding and 5 stars. Otherwise, the Bubbler is your standard townie bar. It's casual, comfortable and cheap. As a nod to the BV hipster population they do have a pretty good tap list but most people are drinking macros. Nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, they do have a jukebox and that shit is cranked up to ear-splitting levels. Some other patrons seemed to be making it their mission to play the worst music ever created on our recent visit. Hopefully that person won't be there on your trip.

Perfection. I am not from Milwaukee and every time I come to town, I need to make a point to come here. This is a great neighborhood bar with friendly bartenders, a welcoming atmosphere, and frosty mugs of High Life. Not to mention, they serve some of the best thin crust Pizza (Vinchi's).
