I just have to give a good review to this place. I order between three and four cattle barons at least every time that I come in this last week I ordered three cattle barons which are basically roast beef subs and it's like they do it in this awesome ass oil and I love a messy sandwich Greasy is my cup of tea and that's why I keep coming back. I just want to say keep making the great subs that you make and I will keep coming!

I frequent this location when I'm in the area. Almost never disappoints. Food- Great Davey Jones today. The location can be a challenge but I can see why it's there- tons of traffic. Excellent- thanks to the staff!

Been making great sandwiches for over 50 years. I remember going to the store in Wauwatosa across from the theater after getting out of work always look forward to getting a Reuben.

I've always loved their subs. It's been a few years since I've had one and it did taste a little different to me. Maybe they changed the mayo? The oil? Maybe nothing and it's just me which is entirely possible. Either way, they still make a good sandwich at a decent price. This location is fast and friendly, always a good stop if you're in the area dropping off or picking up someone at the airport! The space is very basic, they have limited bar style seating if you choose to eat there. They say to keep your sandwich in the bag, but I eventually take it out about halfway through. There's a gas station connected so it's also convenient if you need to grab gas or something else. Check it out!

I'm part of a Milwaukee Foodie Facebook group where I constantly saw recommendations for Suburpia. I love a good roast beef sandwich but I just can't stand places like cousins. So after much anticipation I decided to go ahead and give it a try. It definitely lived up to the hype! When I got there, only the roast beef had a post-it that read "$1 off" and "no spiced oil." I was very confused by this lack of oil. I think the cashier lady was getting frustrated with me because I was under the impression that their special sauce went on all of the subs. But she stated that each sub had its OWN special spiced oil. Hence the $1 off because there wasn't a special oil to pair with it. I opted for the roast beef anyway and deducted a star from my yelp review since I didn't get to try this famous sauce. But then, lo and behold, there was a soda cooler with many different options for drinks. And in it, sat the utmost delicious red beverage I've ever tasted; a Code Red Mountain Dew. I NEVER find these at any fast food/to-go places and it's my favorite soda ever. Alas, I added a star for this feature. I hope the next time I return, they still have code red! But listen, the roast beef sandwich was absolutely delicious and hit the spot. They made it quite fast too (faster than JJs "freaky fast"). It's quite the drive for me just for a sandwich, but I will be back to try the sauce pairing!

My husband and I remember Suburpia from back in the day (1970's) My now husband was in a Punk band and I worked the after bar hours at a Surburpia in Milwaukee on 27th Street. It was a wonderful time! Great atmosphere, clean fresh food-made to order , Sandwiches with creative names, great service & good times. Thank goodness, not much has changed. We now travel over 100 miles to Suburpia so my hubby can get his Classic sandwich!!!!!!!! Suburbia....submarine sandwich!
