Intimate theater is so different from full stage productions. Seeing Million Dollar Quartet in this venue was perfect, from the sound to the seating. This is a big energy show and the music and performances filled the theater and allowed us to fully immerse in the storyline. This was the last night of this production so we were allowed to take photos after the program, when the cast and director took questions from the audience. This was a nice way to hear from the actors themselves and also share the audience's feedback on the production. And the review is GREAT! The ticket pricing is appropriate, parking is readily available in the area and restaurants are plentiful in the theater district. The choice of MDQ in this intimate setting was brilliant. Not all shows can be done well in this setting but this program was spectacular and we left feeling fully entertained. There are no bad seats. We were in the balcony and it made for full view of the stage and all the activities. The main floor does the same. There is an elevator for accessibility.

Vogel Hall is a nice intimate smaller concert hall at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. I've been there many times over my many decades growing up in MYSO and seeing lots of small performances here. The last few years I've become a bigger fan of pianist George Winston, and have been to the hall a lot in recent years. Entrance is way in the back along the river. The plush red seats are comfy, there's not a bad seat in the house. George Winston solo piano is the kind of performer you kind of listen for nuances, and damn if people wanted to crunch their plastic water bottles all night, and talk near the front of the stage during his playing. The seats are also designed so that everyone has a perfect view, so y'know, be mindful of the people seated behind you if you choose to bob and weave like a prizefighter! Paid parking in the Marcus lot, or lots of street meter parking blocks away.

This cute theatre is located on the back side (west side) of the marcus center. Space holds less than 500 so its quite an intimate space. We have seen several performances here so far: We recently saw George Winston (former windham Hill star) who have an amazing piano performance. We also saw the book of "moron" thanks to free tickets from yelp. And no I did not mean book of mormon, which is also good but different. Book of moron was a one man show and it was fantastic. We are fortunate enough to have many performance spaces in Milwaukee and this one is a gem. The place has a little bar in the lobby. Seats were comfortable.

I've seen the Vogel Hall sign on the Marcus Center for years, but last night was my first time in it. I won tickets through Yelp Milwaukee (thanks, YelpMKE!) to see The Second City's "It's Not You, It's Me." My friend and I enjoyed the show, but what stood out to me was how comfortable I was in my seat, compared to when I sit in Uhlein Hall. The seats had better padding on the cushion and the back rest, so I didn't have to shift to avoid pain points like I do in Uhlein. Also, there are cup holders attached to the back of the seats in front of you, so bonus points there. The lighting was great, the sound was great, and the staff was great! There is a nice little bar/lounge area outside the theatre, and you're allowed to bring your drinks into the theatre. There is also a coat room with attendant just inside the entrance. My interest in a show dictates where I see it, but I certainly will not balk at shows performing at the Wilson Theater in Vogel Hall.

It was my first time to Vogel Hall tonight. I have only been in the main theater in the past. This is a more intimate setting with 500 seats. You are able to get a good view of the performance from any seat in the house. We got to see "Book of Moron" Not to be confused with "Book of Mormon." The seats are relatively comfortable and there is a small lobby where you can purchase alcoholic and regular beverages. Each seat has a cup holder in front of it. To get here through the sky walk we had to maneuver through the Marcus to a freight elevator and make our way down to the first floor. Getting out of the parking garage was even a bigger maze.

All the times I've visited the Marcus and never knew little Vogel Hall was attached on the back (river) side. Intimate theater with comfortable seating. Fairly certain there's not a bad seat in the house. Easy to get into and to get around once inside. A nice little venue for seeing a smaller production.

Great time at Vogel Hall last night. I attended the comedy show, Book of Moron. So funny. Vogel Hall was a great venue for the show. Comfortable seats, smaller theater so it made the experience feel more intimate. Was happy to have the heads up that the entrance to Vogel Hall is on the state street side of the building. There is a bar in the lobby. All drinks are put into plastic cups with lids so you can take them into the show without fear of spilling, at least pretty good chance of not spilling :-) Looking forward to my next trip to Vogel Hall!

Vogel Hall is a cute little theater off of the larger Uihlein Hall at the PAC. The theater sat what appeared to be around 300 with a small upper deck. It was easy to see the stage from our side seats which was much appreciated. There's a small bar outside the theater for grabbing a cocktail before or during the show. There isn't a ton space to mingle outside the hall - no tables or seating etc. so you wouldn't want to mingle there for too long. Also - there's no way into the theater through the larger entrance in the front so it was a bit hard to find where we were going which was frustrating. Overall - good facility.

This is a great space! You enter through the back of Marcus Performing Arts Center. They have a bar and a little sitting area in the lobby. The ushers were very polite and helpful, as was the bartender. The auditorium space is also great! There are two levels of seating. It's not a giant theater but you can fit a good number of people. And, since it's smaller, you're in good viewing/hearing distance regardless of where you sit. Another nice perk is they allow beverages inside the theater as long as they're in a plastic cup; there are also cup holders provided. All in all, a good event space!

I can't believe I never knew this little theater existed separately from the Marcus Theater we all are familiar with. That made it interesting for finding the place, but once we did our entry was seamless. We were able to grab our tickets from will call and enter the theater pretty quickly. The space is much more compact to get from the door to your seat as the lobby area is small. They do have a bar and a coat check, should you choose to take advantage of either. The ushers were ready and able to assist with seating us correctly. The chairs were comfortable and it didn't feel like you were smushed in super closely to your neighbor, like some other theaters I've visited. We were in the side section and felt like our seats were just as good as the middle, so kudos to all of the seat in the house being good seats! Now that I know about Vogel Hall, I would definitely visit it again for another show!
