First time here to see a concert, Keb Mo and Shawn Colvin. The theater is breathtaking. They have done such an incredible with the restoration. The inside is excellent. The stage, the audience seats, balconies, all wonderful. There was great attention to all the details. We had great seats, Orchestra, 3rd row center. Great sight line to the stage. The lighting was very good. Our issue was with the sound. Not sure if it was the location (too close), the acoustics of the room, or the mixing, but for us the sound was muddled. I think next time we will try to get a spot further back. The lobby area is quite comfortable. And the adjoining lobby the east allows for gathering or special events. The entire place is a GEM. Looking forward to our next visit.

We got tickets to the Vivaldi four seasons performance featuring Rachel Ellen Wong, and she was amazing. The musicians were super engaging with the audience, and the music was exquisite.

Went to see the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra here, recently, and the acoustics are top notch! Apparently that was just one of the reasons that the MSO felt like a move to a new space was needed, and mission accomplished! The Theater space itself is beautifully restored. I went through a similar restoration while playing bass for the Rockford Symphony Orchestra (Coronado Theater) in the early aughts, and I'm glad MSO now has its own beautiful dedicated space. I'm a little bit of a post-modernist, in that I wouldn't mind seeing some nods to the present day, mixed in with restoration projects, but that's just me. The main entrance is on the corner, and there you'll enter into a beautiful bright modern lobby with lounge areas, coat check, a bar, and also a nice "golden ratio" spiral staircase up to similar on the floor above. Sculpture Milwaukee also has an indoor glass sculpture on the first floor (as of March 2022), and perhaps that window/street space will be a rotating "gallery" as well. Top notch restoration!

Wow! The old Grand theater has been restored into a magnificent performance space for the MSO. The entrance is gorgeous, with beautiful murals and original silvering on the railings and trim. The auditorium itself has great sound and lovely concourses. They've kept original details like Deco signage and vintage phone booths - but added modern amenities like a sensory room. We were lucky enough to see the recent Prohibition show which was excellent. I can't wait to come back for more performances.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's new home, The Warner Grand, is an absolute delight! It is the star of the show on the revitalize of this section of Wisconsin Ave. I was able to get a peek at the theater renovations during Doors Open Milwaukee and was blown away by the physical transformation of the space. They did an amazing job keeping and highlighting some of the original features of the theater. But they also modernized it to meet the need of today's theater goers. I love it so much, it truly lives up to the name Grand. I waited to do the review until I saw a performance by the Symphony because my number one issue with their old space was the quality of sound. Well, I am happy to report the sound quality is fantastic! I felt the intimacy of the space and immersed in the sounds of the orchestra! I cannot wait to attend more performances at The Warner Grand! I highly recommend you do this same.
