Incredibly good! Very cheap for a bunch of food, surprisingly esp with custard style burgers going for $10 over rated places. Staff is always polite, patient and doesn't miss a beat with crazy modifications, I happen to ask for! This is a go to when in the area and you know you have to stop!

It was one of those evenings where you need a quick bite and nothing is working out. My son requested burgers, my husband and I try to eat plant based, so we chose a spot that had both plant based and beef burgers and...closed. After a couple more false starts, we just needed dinner, plant based or no. Enter Big Deal Burgers & Custard. It was a warm late summer evening and we entered and the restaurant was also quite warm. They didn't seem to have air conditioning. That said, they had plenty of outdoor seating, so we opted for that as there was a nice breeze outside. I ordered the patty melt and cheese fries. The patty melt was ample and delicious with caramelized onions. The cheese fries were also delish. Our cashier was so lovely! She was friendly and welcoming. They don't really have any vegan options and for vegetarian options, they had a grilled cheese and I think some salads (obviously, I dove straight into some beef but better options were available). Appreciated the reasonably priced dinner for my hungry family! Get to it!

Stopped here since I heard good things about this place. Since it was Friday, I had a fish sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich was fresh, hot, and delicious. Definitely cod. The onion rings were crisp, and flavorful. Since they had fresh custard on premise, I had a vanilla shake, which was rather thin for custard. To be honest, I had better custard at several different Milwaukee locals before. The staff were polite, friendly, and accommodating. A little pricey, but in today's economy, you expected it. Plenty of parking.

Not sure what's going on over there lately. The light on the drive thru menu board has been burnt out for a year, the daily special ribbon sign on the corner of the property has ben non operational for two years. I used to be ok with the food, despite the soggy buns. But every time I've ordered food there in the last six months, I end up in the bathroom an hour later. Last time I just went for an ice cream, and the same thing happened. Maybe it's me, but I don't have a problem anywhere else.

We heard great things about Big Deal so finally decided to try it out. Right off the bat, I was disappointed to see a sign by the register saying the prices may not be accurate on their menus. Paper menus - makes sense. Can't reprint every time. But the TV menu boards in the restaurant can't be updated? We had an upcharge on everything we got and that's on top of a bit of a pricey menu. We both got combos so one could try the fries and the other onion rings. *Upcharge for rings as a side (more than the difference between fries and rings on the menu). Burgers were on the larger side and cooked well with plenty of condiments. The onion rings were good but could've used more in the bag. The fries portion was much bigger and they were pretty good. It took some time to get our order. Plenty of seating and they had NFL on to keep people busy while waiting for their orders. The bathroom was freezing and a little grimey but maybe it's an older building. We waited until after we had lunch to order the flavor of the day which was the best part of this experience. The 3 scoop cup of the flavor of the day price actually matched what was on the menu. Very good with plenty of toppings. All in all, not a bad burger place but I probably would only come for the custard next time.

Amazing burgers and reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly. Also the burgers were huge, the chili cheese fries were great.

It's a good burger place. Price is reasonable, but the service is very unattended. The place needs attention . The chairs are old cushions need to be replaced. The table-was a bit wobbly. It would be a great place to take your kids for a cheaper meal. If you don't care to much about what the place looks like.

My first time trying this place. I had gone through the drive-through . There was a long wait , which I'm OK with. When I ordered my food and finally got to the window, there were several cars ahead of me. I had to wait an extra 5 minutes or more for my meal. I'm OK with waiting. However, I tried my fries right away they were lukewarm and my burger was warm not hot so I'm not sure why I had to wait so long for my food when it didn't appear to be anything was hot off the grill or hot out of the fryer. The food was very tasty and I enjoyed the butter almond custard that they had. I will still give them another chance, hopefully they will do better. Another issue was I only ordered a bacon cheeseburger because half of their sign wasn't lit up to read any of the specialty burgers they had and what was on them.
