Just stayed at the  Cliff House, rooms are clean and neat. This was my 6th time staying here. Staff friendly but a few newbies require more training. Reason for 2 stars is based upon the food. Over the years food quality has been going down hill. They want to come across as a gourmet restaurant but have no idea or have the culinary skills to pull it off.  Let's face it, if the restaurant was a standalone it would fail miserably. If the kitchen is busy they cut corners on quality to clear the ticket EXAMPLE recooking previously cooked french fries and salting them again so much they are just a over cooked salt lick then slapping a premium price on it so you think its high quality. Great view, nice rooms but I will not be returning.

Cliff house is a gem!  The views throughout the property is stunning, their hospitality is top notch and the place is clean and cozy.  They always try their best to accommodate their customers.  I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back again.

Emma from Tiller and Mila from the front desk is very warm and welcoming.  My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our weekend stay here.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at the Cliff House  multiple times, and every single visit has been nothing short of amazing. Each stay has reinforced why this place is one of our favorite getaways.

The views from the resort are absolutely stunning, offering a serene backdrop that makes it feel like you’re in your own little piece of paradise. The spa is a true highlight—so relaxing and rejuvenating. We also spent plenty of time in the hot tub, which is not only a fun way to unwind but also the perfect spot to take in the surrounding beauty.

A special mention goes to Justin, the concierge, who always provides the best service. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests make all the difference, ensuring we have everything we need for a perfect stay. We also want to thank the bartenders at Nubb’s Lobster Shack—they’re always friendly, helpful, and serve up fantastic drinks with a smile.

Every visit to Cliff House Resort feels like a retreat, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for relaxation, great service, and incredible views.

The views are breathtaking! I was blown away walking into the lobby! We just stayed for our honeymoon weekend and the resort has so much to offer! There are lots of areas to sit and relax, a spa, multiple pools, and oceanfront dining. The on-site restaurant was wonderful! They also have a bar to order drinks and then lounge around the property. There are great walking trails and access to the rocky coast behind the resort. The staff was very attentive from the second we pulled onto the property!

The only downside of our stay was our room, it was very basic, and the bathroom was a little dirty, especially the tile in the shower and floor. The headboard was dirty and there was painters' tape around some of the baseboards in the room. We were also very disappointed that the balcony room we booked was more of a garden view/patio, as we were on the first floor right next to the walking path, so it wasn't private at all. For the price, it was a big disappointment, so if you want privacy, I recommend making sure you are not on the first floor.

If you’re looking for an upscale resort feel in New England then look no further! The property is absolutely gorgeous with scenic views overlooking the ocean everywhere. On-site restaurants were excellent. We tried both Nub’s and The Tiller; the service and food were top notch. The lobby lounge is unique with multiple fireplaces and cozy furnishings that will make you feel like you’re in your own living room. They have all kinds of activities and live music as well as a spa. Whether you’re going for a week or just a weekend trip you won’t be disappointed!
