This place is so beautiful, a true sanctuary. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here, including the location of the villa, as well as the villa itself. It's a work of art and truly unique to any place we stayed on our trip. Shout out to Valerie, the property manager, who helped book dinners for us and made us feel right at home. La Villa Mahana (right down the hill) is a must go for dinner. Can't wait to come back!

This villa is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed, feels like living in an art gallery. I stayed here after being at an over the water bungalow and was still impressed by this charming spot. Very picturesque, extras points for sunsets being so  pretty from up in the hill. Breakfast offered is also worth including for a few extra dollars. They provide information for restaurant pickup and call them for you if asked, they also have cab contact if needed to get to and from airport and around the island.

My wife and I spent 5 nights at Villa Yrondi, and got so much more than we paid for. To start, the day before our trip was to begin, the host, Valerie, messaged me that the Bora Bora airport staff was on strike. She called the airline THREE TIMES on our behalf to ensure our flight would still happen and be on time. Travel all worked out, she also booked us transport to and from the villa. She let us use bicycles for free even though they were listened at $10usd a day, and our room was cleaned daily, when it only specified every other day. We didn’t have breakfast as our suite had a full and well-appointed kitchen, but what we saw looked delicious.

The villa itself is exquisite. It feels like (likely because it originally was) a home rather than a hotel, and has a very Mediterranean feel throughout. Of course the artwork is spectacular throughout, given Garrick Yrondi is the owner. Valerie helped throughout, giving recommendations and suggestions to make our trip perfect.

As an additional bonus, we booked a private yoga session from a flyer at the villa (with Pauline Jasson, who was fantastic!) and got to have a lesson on the villas roof deck at sunset, looking over Bora Bora. Not a bad way to honeymoon.

A few things in response to some previous negative comments: French Polynesia, not this villa in particular, has bugs. It’s just what you get when you come here. Come to the US, you have high health care costs, go to FP, there are bugs. Bring tropical insect repellant and a sense of humor, you’ll be fine.

Also, again, FP, not the villa: it’s a surprisingly loud nation due to the prevalence of roosters and stray dogs. Again, not at all villa specific - we stayed in three exquisite places on three islands and all had this. Ear plugs are a good call, as well as, again, a sense of humor (the rooster closest to the villa has a crow very similar to the first few notes of the “All’s Quiet on the Western Front”’s theme).

We would absolutely love to return to Villa Yrondi on any trip to Bora Bora.

Very special villa in Bora Bora, really brings out a southern European country house experience. With lovely details created by the owner. The hosts were very flexible and welcoming. Great place to stay and great value for money.

Whatever I say about this villa cannot be good enough to describe how amazing our stay was. The architecture of the villa is very charming, rooms are very very spacious and decorated with same Italian style furnitures and great painting of Mr. Yrondi who himself lives there. Over all, it was clean, confortable and extremely charming and inspiring. Valerie, the manager was lovely and very helpful. By the end of our stay, she felt like family.
