If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would 10 stars for food 10 stars for service and 10 stars for atmosphere. I was worried about being the last seating of the evening, but they made me feel ultra special. As a solo traveler, getting to eat at the kitchen bar is a wonderful experience that I highly suggest. With a warm and friendly owner and an amazingly talented head chef and staff each bite I took demonstrated the passion that everyone at Culprit seems to share.

It’s a bonus that the head chef is also a woman which I love to support.  I opted with the Epic menu to include the seafood options. I would have included the wine pairings, but I had had cocktails at a previous location and decided to just get one cocktail there which was delightful and recommended by the hostess Lauren.

Zoe kept my plate and utensils ready for each course and it was delightful to watch the chefs prepared dishes for myself as well as the other patrons of the restaurant.  My favorites had to be the mussel fritters, and the pork stuffed duck.  I also surprised myself by enjoying the venison tartar.

The atmosphere is the other part of the fun. The utilize overhead projectors to put art up on the wall, which I found extremely nostalgic and creative. The intimate setting is set with limited dining space as well as lighting features, and the small plate delivery of food on cute trolley carts.

We went there on Saturday for a birthday dinner and ordered the set menu, but the service we received was very disappointing.

Firstly, although we placed our orders in order, the staff member who took the orders was different from the one who served the dishes, which resulted in confusion and required us to rearrange the meals ourselves once they were brought out.

Secondly, since we had a group of eight people, the main course was only served at the very end. We were told this was because the main dish takes a long time to prepare, but there was no apology at all. I want to emphasize that this is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant—if they can't even manage the basic sequence of serving dishes, how can they justify charging such a high price?

What's worse is that the main course was served after dessert, by which time we were no longer hungry, and much of the food ended up wasted. Despite this delay, the staff kept coming over to ask if we had finished eating and wanted to clear the plates—likely because they were getting ready to close. But it’s important to note that it was their delay that caused this timing issue, and there were still several other tables dining in the restaurant.

After the meal, when we asked a staff member to take a group photo for us using both a GoPro and a phone, the staff's attitude was extremely impatient and even rolled their eyes at us. This kind of attitude is simply unacceptable. Not only did they fail to show any courtesy for our celebration, but being treated like this in a fine dining restaurant—where the average cost is around $200 per person—was truly disappointing.

To be fair, the ambiance and the food itself were decent, but due to the poor attitude and service, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

I was really surprised, the flavors were far beyond my expectations. I dare say a magnificently excellent job by the team of cooks, when you manage to go through several very high stages of well-defined flavors and masterfully combined, you understand that you are facing an experience that you will never forget.
The service of the staff that presented the dishes and described them were the other great team of the night, with great joy and dedication to the work of quality service and respect, but with a perfect touch of humor.
I, and like the rest of my family, were amazed, in love with such a delicious experience.

Great food! overall the other food is fantastic! I would go back here again if I can.

Just not gonna order the cauliflower again as it smells like socks. Not my cup of tea, we are 4 people and 3/4 said the same feedback.

This dining experience was insane. Food was next level. We went on a Wednesday night and booked through first table so it was super affordable but we would have been happy to pay full price for what we received.
We had a seafood platter to start, everything on this was beautiful especially the oysters and octopus. we then had another platter which consisted of meat and vegetable canapé style dishes, the beef tartare was a standout but my favourite dish of the night was the courgette with chicken fat! We followed this up with a small main and a dessert both outstanding. We were completely full by the end.
We will 100% be back
