Experience from start to finish has been absolutely great.

Special thanks to Julia, the hostess, for keeping the kitchen's last order open for us until we arrived.

Julia is very social and friendly and makes you feel welcomed at the restaurant. The ambience and environment of the restaurant are amazing. Service was outstanding, amazing explanation about meat selection and side, and desert selection

Recommended by American Express, so we gave it a try…

it is beyond my expectation….

they are very accomodating, we came after long very early trip very tired, we make a booking at 9:30 and we came early…. to my surprise they show my table around 8:00….

we are asking what kind of steak they serve, one of the guy actually show me a plate of raw beef and patiently explain to us….. so we end up ordering all the cuts….

entree baked bone marrow and tuna carpaccio is totally amazing….

I had a really good time here. The food is amazing. Cooked well, great variety, and the split bill only came to £110. I was expecting the steaks to be a little bigger and fatter, but it was the perfect amount when you have to eat lots of side because they are all great, especially the onion rings!!

Beautiful ambience and goes well with the great food they serve, would recommend this place to have steaks, very limited menu with gourmet food.

So much to enjoy about having a meal here - the attentive staff, superb wine menu and cocktails, and quality of the food. Very comfortable leather chairs.

The steaks were, as you'd expect, very good. Mum had the petite fillet mignon and it was melt in your mouth tender. I had the scotch - delicious but not quite as tender as I thought it would be.

Loved the choice of side dishes - we had the roasted beetroot, seasonal greens (brocollini) and whipped potatoe.

The reserve Church Road Syrah was simply superb.

Staff were attentive and helpful. My mum, who never tips, gave the server $20 .... so she must have been impressed!

Bring your credit card - it's expensive! But, probably one of the best places in Auckland for steak.

All up, we'd give the experience a 9/10 - almost everything you could want from a high quality steak meal.
