Briljant på alla sätt, gjort för att känna sig som en lokal från början! Bra mat, service och atmosfär! Så glad att hitta denna plats, full av lokalbefolkningen och super välkomnande.

Detta är galnaste stället jag ätit i NZ. Från servitris, kock och chef kan det inte bli värre. Jag undersökte faktiskt restauranger i Auckland vetskapen om hur dålig restaurangmat är och det här stället var en av få platser jag ville besöka. Jag beställde 330 ml Hallertau Granny Smith Apple Cider för 13 dollar, servitrisen dök upp med flaska som inte var kyld och glas fyllt med is. Detta är helt enkelt nötter att späda cider med vatten. Jag beställde Burnt Eggplant Matbucha för $ 31 och vad jag fick var några skivor aubergine med få grillade märken toppade med tomatbitar ur en burk och några smulor fetaost. Inga kryddor användes, ingen likhet med matbucha. Mest troligt $ 3 värde av produkter och några minuters arbete för att sätta grillmärken. Jag klagade till manager som berättade att namnet på denna maträtt är bara inspiration. Jag borde inte förvänta mig äkta vara. Och han har aldrig hört talas om tekniken att bränna aubergine. Jag förklarade för honom att detta är matlagningsmetod för att ta hela aubergine och förkolna den över öppen eld för att skapa rökig smak och matbucha är sås som har paprika, tomater och kryddor och måste kokas. Jag fick inte ens en ursäkt. Stället drivs av galna skurkar som inte har någon aning om hur man förbereder riktig mat.

Utmärkt frukost och den bästa apelsinjuicen jag någonsin ätit. Vi åt granola, komplett frukost och vaniljcreme. Alla var fantastiska. Jag skulle starkt rekommendera denna plats om du letar efter en bra frukost i Auckland.

Perfekt beläget, tvärs över vägen från Auckland Tower. De ger trevligt kaffe och trevliga saker att äta. Det kan vara dyrt, men av en god anledning var det bra. Personalen hjälpsam. De har en carpork på framsidan, och det är lätt att komma dit.

Maten var fantastisk. Vi åt säsongens tomater och de gröna med rökt varm lax. Det var Devine! Servicen var otrolig. Avslutade måltiden med crepes med crème brûlée - var en utsökt avslutning. Dålig service. Jag tror att chefen (mannen med glasögon) hade en ledig dag, när vi gick in och inte ens hälsades eller tittade på medan han tittade på sin iPad. När vi satt fick vi frågan om vi ville ha stilla eller kolsyrat vatten. Jag bad om mousserande och tog emot ändå. Hans övergripande attityd var fruktansvärd. Hur svårt skulle det vara att låtsas att du bryr dig? Matstället ”Chur Bae” på nedervåningen har utmärkt service och får dig faktiskt att känna dig välkommen och omhändertagen. Jag tror att det är ett bättre alternativ. Jag återvänder aldrig till Odettes.
