If you are a GIN drinker this is the place for you. GIN tastings and lots to buy. Total focus on NZ GIN. We had a great time and the staff are super knowledgeable and make great recommendations. A must visit to the GIN room.

Amazing Gin, amazing drinks, amazing staff = amazing food. Check this place out when you are around - especially after all the wineries are closed after 4:30 (?why?). An awesome place to finish the day. We did the gin tasting and had another 2 G&Ts because they were so good!

What an interesting place !   I'm not a great gin drinker but I just HAD to sample something, so opted for the 3 gins for $10 offering.  The woman presenting the gins was fun, bubbly and very knowledgeable about the products.  Although we didn't purchase anything, we felt that being able to TRY something new for very little outlay was money well spent, and I'd recommend The Gin Room based on that experience.

Delicious gins and wonderful knowledgeable staff! Enjoyed our tasting, and highly recommend you try the Roots Gin (whose distillery is on-site) and is award winning. Great assortment of gins (and a few beers)!

the two ladies that greeted us and gave us a rundown of the gins were the bomb.
