Palacio de Sal was an incredible place to stay! Everything is made out of salt, the rooms were very comfortable (we had electric blankets in the room for chilly evenings)! The spa facilities were lovely too and the food was surprisingly delicious! Surprising just because in a lot of remote locations it doesn’t need to be great, so it’s well worth noting. The portions were however very large! Which could be a plus for some 😂

The hotel also made our food for our day out in Uyuni and this was one of the best meals we had in Bolivia! Everything was so tasty and delicious.

This hotel gave us an exceptional welcoming. We had a more tricky reservation booking due to us arriving a day later than the reservation was, but the staff was super attentive and went over the top to make our stay wonderful. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the SPA is just what you need and overlooking the salt flats of Uyuni. Just a bicycle ride away, you are there, right among it all. The sunset is also visible from the hotel.

This place is fantastic! Out in the middle of the salt flats this is a true oasis. The pool and the pool area are nice and warm, a perfect respite for a  chilly August night. They have both steam and dry sauna and a full service spa where you can rent your own private pool.
The staff is super friendly (especially Sarah, at reception).
The hotel's surroundings are being invested in and I can't wait to come back and see it when it's done!
They already put in some ground level trampolines, and are working on cozy fireplaces that look oh so beautiful!
Truly a 5 star hotel that I hope to be able to come back to. (And I haven't even mentioned the sunsets! Breathtaking!)

Service is excellent! Ronald the bellboy makes you feel as if you are coming home. Sara at the front desk looked after me so well that I’d go back just for her.
However - I don’t understand how an a la carte lunch can be so delicious, and breakfast dinner buffet so terrible. The hotel needs a deep cleaning and refurbishing, and the dining hall a light designer.

We loved everything about the hotel, the staff were really lovely and thoughtful with us. We came from the salt flats (freezing cold sunset) directly into the hotel and went straight for a relax time at their heated pool which. Dinner was buffet and didn’t have a lot of variety but everything we ate was delicious. The breakfast was very simple something they could work on. Taking to consideration the hotel is in a very remote area and how hard must be for them to deliver excellence to please international tastes.. 5 stars !!
