Love a free museum! We went on a Saturday and the only part open was downstairs. I’m not clear on whether we came back, other parts would be open. It was fun to see the art on display, but even more fun to see the workroom with art classes going on.

Got a vegan brownie at the cafe outside and saw that there would be a samba festival that night at a stage that was being setup. Seems like a great hub of activities

One of the best place that I've been before. The enviromente, the people, the structure, food and speacially the music. Don't let to know this place on Salvador.

Fine. Free. Nothing special as far as the art on display but the museum buildings are interesting. Nice place for coffee or a cold drink on site. Worth the minimal trouble getting there. I would not walk there, especially from Barra. Take a taxi.
