Amazing Samba experience, a must if you're in Rio. You can eat there but don't necessarily go for the food. Definitely for the good vibes, the Samba and the atmosphere.

Nice place but just too crowded. Service super slow. There was only 1 guy to do the drinks for everyone!!. A lot staff to cash first though. Meaning , they cash quick and you wait ages to get your drink. We even didn’t risk to order food, afraid we would get our food in the morning….for breakfast.

I stayed there for only 30 minutes but it had an awesome vibe. I danced, laughed and had a good time in a short time. They only accept cash to get in (cover)  though.

Bra musik och härlig stämning med mycket brasilianare som sjunger och dansar till sina favoritlåtar. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och maten, liksom dryckerna var bra. En promenad ner den närliggande gatan var också en stor musikalisk upplevelse.

Vi hamnade alltid här i Lapa när vi ville höra brasiliansk livemusik hela natten. Landade där tre nätter i rad. Tillsammans med gatasambas i Zona Norte-områdena var det den bästa musikupplevelsen för oss i staden.

Om du vill ha den bästa Samba de Raiz i Rio, måste du gå till Beco do Rato, de dagar som de hade Encontros Casuais, Mygg och Inacio Rios, att spela där är det bästa.

Du måste betala ett litet lock avgift för att komma in. Gå tidigt för att få en plats vid ett bord. Titta på saker uppvärmningen som den kvällen fortskrider. Den (Stadsmusikanterna) nästan börja utan varning men en gång de få igång de kommer spela i timmar på slutet. Drycker stärka som den natten går på. Det är en underbar upplevelse att vara en del av detta musikaliska stora fotbollsdagen. Den plats blir trångt så håll säte.

Du är inte tillräckligt bra på det eller, om du är, du behöver inte en tripadvisor omdöme i engelska för att berätta om det här stället. Det är missvisande att kalla det en restaurang. Du är där för att visa. Det finns tillräckligt med mat och riklig öl (en vägg av lådor separerar sittplatser/dans område från gatan) men det är den musik och dans. Mycket bra är de också. Detta är den äkta varan, satte på för njutning av deltagarna. De verkade redo för utlänningar och jag tror inte att vi skulle ha varit något mindre välkomna om vi hade talat engelska, men de är inte sikta på någon slags turistinformation marknaden. Koppla av, inte gör något dumt, och kom ihåg (särskilt när du lämnar) att du är i ett lite skumt område - inte riktigt farligt, men inte ett ställe att vara påträngande.

Vet du vart du ger dig in på. Ja det är utmärkt ( i en mycket exotiska och självmordsbenägna sätt) men var medveten om. Trots att området är trångt och genomsyras av polis. Även Vara medveten om det. Detta är inte Hawaiian shirt och dyr videokameror medan du visa upp dina dyra Rolex. Antar att du vet att redan. Men det bara fortfarande förvånar mig att vissa turister inte få det. En del av dessa människor som arbetar här gör 10 spänn. Men ja. Lapa är en lista Rio. Men något är aldrig förändras.
