Great bar. Came here from a tour; I would say waitress have it a bit hard with space, and they can become really cranky.

Edit: Lowered this to an 2 star for gaslighting. I was trying to express kindly that I was treated rudely, but obviously leadership is in denial.

I would not recommend to go there because they  say one price in advanced, and they charge more money in our final ticket, the man in the street persuades us to go in with the proposal to dance samba, and after that, we pay for the entrance and they stop playing music and show the football match instead of playing music.

Lovely bar. We went for a dance. Good DJ and party vibe at 10pm.

Terrible bar. Music is a mix of samba with pop, lot of foreigners. At the end they let you wait in line for up to 1.5 hours to pay before you can go outside. Security prefers local over foreigners, which is quite sad

I had a great time here! It's in the Arco de Lapa area. We were strongly advised to take a taxi - and not take the metro and walk from the station - for safety reasons. Real talk. Take a taxi if you're a tourist. We walked all around the bars and restaurants and picked this place because there was a live band playing pagode. They played sets for 45 minutes, took a break and there was a popular Brazilian music in between the sets. Not a huge dancing area. You sort of danced where you were sitting or standing. There is a larger upstairs dancing area, not too many people were up here. There was another bar upstairs and bathrooms. Service was really great. Our waitress was quick, attentive, and very welcoming. I had a great time here and danced to the live pagode. They also have free wi-fi, the waitress will enter the password for you. We payed $R10 to enter. Casual bar with live music. Sort of crowded, but so what. I had a great time!
