Fell into this tourist trap because the name fooled us making it sound high end.  When we were sat down we noticed everyone around us had ordered and were waiting for their food. We had a feeling this would take a while but would be worth it. Boy were we wrong. It took nearly an hour for 2 dishes to come out and when I got my steak it was overcooked (they never asked how well I wanted it), the rice was dry and the fries were cold and dry. Avoid and find something off Atlantic that is more authentic.

Great food. We loved the paella 🥘 very reasonable price and lots of food. Friendly atmosphere. WE went here multiple times during our week in Rio.

Antonio is great server. Very courteous and friendly. We left our credit card and Antonio remembered us when he saw us walking by later and gave the card to us. Thanks Antonio - you're awesome!!

La Maison in Rio. This restaurant was located right across the street for the beach which was in a great location. The food itself wasn't so great. Everything looked amazing, but when it ckme down to the flavor, there wasn't much. We ordered the seafood paella, seafood spaghetti and a fried shrimp dish. The seafood paella had lots of seafood but little flavor. The seafood spaghetti was OK. Had a little seasoning. And the fried shrimp gad no flavor and too much batter.

On arriving, I left my apartment and this was the first place i found to eat by chance.

And I landed on my feet. Its very good.

Lovely view of the beach. Good waiters. Good service. Food is decent. I came back every night for my evening meal the whole time I'm in copacabana.

Feijoada was one the reason for my trip to Brazil and We just tasted it in a very Correct place. Perfect taste , So delicious and so much. We could not finish one dish together ... It was my first Feijoada and maybe the last (as I may never travel to Brazil) but made a great memory of Feijoada for me forever.

Dine at La Maison: Beachfront in Copacabana, Rio

Denna restaurang ligger precis nedanför JW Marriott och Windsor California så om du bor på ett av dessa hotell och trött och inte vill tänka mycket på att gå ut och äta middag, är det trevligt eftersom det är bara en trappa ner. Jag försökte en natt efter en hel dag av syn så kom hit av bekvämlighet. Cocktailarna var bra, läckra mojitos. Jag åt en svart bönsoppa som också var väldigt god. Till min huvudrätt åt jag en biff som kom med ris och pommes frites - köttet var helt okej, lite tuggigt och smakmässigt medelmåttigt. Servicen var utmärkt. Förutom biffen, allt annat var bra.

Vi åkte hit två gånger och första gången hade vi en blandad skaldjur för två som var 5/5 och andra gången hade vi hamburgare som var 3/5 därav 4:an! Mestadels gamla guld erfarna servitörer men engelska var inte deras styrka

Vi beställde en pastarätt som inte hade någon smak , mer som diskvatten . En hamburgare som var ok men pommes fritesen var underkokt.

Detta var lunch på en varm dag, 31 ° C . . . . . denna utanför restaurang var mycket rent och snyggt, vår servitör var mycket uppmärksam på våra krav, vi hade 3 öl och en fruktjuice med 2 sallader - 1 x ceasar och 1 x miste (kokt ägg) - portionerna var mycket stora . . . . misten innehöll också hjärtat av palm, det var underbart. . . . och allt för en mycket rimlig 229 Reals (£ 33 ) . . . . för en utmärkt lunch

Hittade en perfekt lösning på de enorma delarna i Brasilien - köp bara en och dela. Fortfarande misslyckades jag med att avsluta min halva. Grillad kyckling med stekt banan och ris, den kombinationen låter redan komplett för mig, men ändå lyckas de fylla på den med pommes frites. Passar det för grönsaker här? Hm? Även om maten, service, värd och kväll var vacker. Plus en hacka och vatten. Räkningen är 55 reais.

Allvarligt, gå inte dit. Vi beställde en kyckling med bönor och stekt bananer och bra gjort biff men vi fick den inte. Vi fick två sällsynta gjort, blodiga biffar (inte ätbara för mig, alls) Efter att vi berättade för dem att det inte är vad vi beställde de mycket snabbt förlorade alla där engelska och vi var tvungna att betala för allt trots att vi inte äter Det. Mycket bra läge vid Copacabana och en helt okej prisnivå. Vi var här för en lunch och maten var helt okej, utan att imponera fullständigt. Men värt ett besök för en bit mat om man är i området.

Vi gick ut från vårt närliggande hotell och letade efter någonstans att äta. Vi ville inte gå för långt och såg La Maison. Menyn såg bra ut och vi gick in. Vi satt snabbt och vår servitör gav oss våra menyer och våra drycker snabbt. Att få drinkar är alltid bra! Jag märkte att personen vid nästa bord hade en fantastisk snygg måltid så beslutade att ha vad han äter. Jag antydde för vår servitör att detta var vad jag ville ha. Vad som anlände var liknande (det hade liknande ingredienser) men inte något liknande vad min co-diner äta! Det skulle ha inneburit för mycket förklaring för att skicka tillbaka det så jag valde att äta det. Som en av sidoskålarna beställde jag feijoada. Nu vet jag att detta är en mycket traditionell maträtt i Brasilien och är universellt älskad men helt uppriktigt kan jag inte se överklagandet. Som med de flesta brasilianska restauranger får du ett överutbud av kolhydrater med din måltid. Chips och ris och maniok eller någon annan stärkelse. Bara en skulle vara bra. Eller vad sägs om att sallad erbjuds som ett alternativ? Jag har kommenterat andra inlägg att jag i allmänhet tyckte att brasiliansk mat var mycket intetsägande och detta var inget undantag. Resten av mitt parti hade sin middag. Vi hade en drink och betalade ganska enkelt. Jag antar att inställningen, på trottoaren och nära stranden, är ett plus.

Vi hade en fantastisk upplevelse på La Maison. Personalen gick utöver att försöka hjälpa oss att överbrygga språkbarriären så att vi enkelt kunde konversera och placera vår order på engelska. Vinet som rekommenderades var utmärkt och våra måltider var väl förberedda och kom snabbt. Vår servitör var mycket uppmärksam och hålls påfyllning våra glasögon och se till att allt var ok. . skulle definitivt rekommendera ??

Fryst fisk! ! ! ! Omöjligt att servera i Rio Frysta bläckfisk och frysta fisk, även frysta, inte ätbara musslor. Inga kommentarer på service de öppnar flaskor öl utan att fråga dig om du vill eller inte och de tar även ut 10 procent för denna inte definierbara dålig service! ! ! ! Första och sista gången. Säkert jag inte råd någon att komma hit och förlora pengar.

Om du letar efter att äta bra fisk är det här platsen. inte bara tjänsten är riktigt bra, men tallrikarna med full storlek fisk är underbara och du kan dela och ändå inte slutföra!

Ligger precis på hörnet av Copacabana Beach, har denna lilla restaurang några fantastiska rätter. Jag rekommenderar det starkt!

Vi åt på kvällen här. Vi var en grupp av 17 och tjänsten var bra med vänliga servitörer. Jag hade kockens speciella fisk gryta som var mycket bra och kokosnöt ris kokades till perfektion. Rimligt prissatt.

Beläget på Avenida Atlantica, svår att skilja en restaurang från en annan. Fisk och skaldjur risotto brasiliansk stil var utsökt - liknande Paella förutom att detta är kryddigt. Min kollega nöjd, inte överväldigad av sin fiskrätt. Generöst vinhäll.
