This has to be one of the best Omakase I’ve ever had in my life, from the first bite of the bluefin tuna I knew I was in for a treat (I think I rolled me eyes uncontrollably). It started off so strong and it stayed at the same level throughout, every single one was phenomenal, well balanced and perfect flavored. 10/10 and so well deserved Michelin star

Environment: simple clean elegant design, everything was very well thought out from the inside and out and elevates the experience
Food: I would honestly come back to São Paulo just for this. All the ingredients were sourced from all over the world for the best quality, the seasoning on each balance out the flavor perfectly. Food from the kitchen were all like a warm hug.
Chef(Ryuzo Nishimura) so nice and so humble, and you can tell he’s genuinely happy with what he does and that makes the meal special. I was lucky to get a seat at the bar to watch him showcase his beautiful art. As the only non-Portuguese speaker on the table, chef patiently explained every dish to me in perfect English. I was the last one waiting for my Uber after they close and chef saw me and waited for my Uber with me.
Service: people were very attentive and they all speak English (for us non-Brazilians)
Price: coming from the US this is such a steal for Omakase let alone at this quality

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the world, and I honestly would come back to São Paulo just for this. As someone who never write reviews I feel obligated to leave one, it’s THAT good. If you can only have one meal in São Paulo, THIS IS IT!

A Sao Paulo classic as it comes to Omakases! A little hidden spot in the heart of Pinheiros - If you are an omakase aficionado, you can’t miss the experience at Jun’s. Amazing combinations, dense flavors, wonderful sake options, and a staff that will make you feel at home. We ate popular brazilian fish with a twist, sometimes with shiso, sometimes with yuzu, but always wonderful! Arigato gozaimasu, Sakamoto staff!

Jun Sakamoto offers a stunning array of carefully crafted dishes poised to surprise and wow guests. From the outside, the restaurant seems to be a garage rather than a restaurant, however, once the doors open, guests are greeted with a zen style garden deco, floor to ceiling windows and of course, the famous chefs. Once seated, the meals equally wowed. From the small appetizer of steamed squid with roe to the blue fin tuna, each piece of food was crafted with care and a strong attention to detail. The dessert wasn’t much to write home about, a rather simple green apple ice cream. Overall the restaurant offers an experience deserving of its one star status.

Min fru och jag åt middag vid disken på fredag kväll @ 7 : 00 . Ryuzo Nishimura var kock. Jag blev förvånad över att det inte var så trångt. Det fanns några platser tillgängliga vid disken och jag tror att några bordsplatser också var tillgängliga. Maten var utsökt. Kocken förberedde sushin och hans assistenter applicerade sedan små mängder sås eller kryddor. Vissa rätter var lätt förkolnade. De första flera rätterna var tonfisk. Vi hade också lax, laxrom, kammusslor, havsabborre och några andra fiskar. Efter att kocken var klar hade vi ytterligare två rätter förberedda i köket. Kocken gjorde ett bra jobb med att förklara de olika rätterna och svarade gärna på frågor. Han talade mycket bra engelska. Tempot på middagen var mycket bra och den varade i ungefär två timmar. Restaurangen är gömd bakom en garageport men det finns en man utanför för att träffa kunder så det är ganska lätt att hitta. Vi njöt mycket av middagen och tyckte att restaurangen förtjänade sin Michelinstjärna.

Denna plats gör verkligen omakase erfarenhet mer tillgänglig för de människor som letar efter det. Vi njöt av kvällen, men lämnade känslan bara lite ovälkommen och rusade. Maten var mör och härlig (som förväntat). Vinlistan var lite tråkig. Tjänsten var... låt oss säga okej.

Vi bokade bord på June Sakamoto för min väns födelsedag. Restaurangen ligger bakom en omärkt vit garageport, så se till att du inte går förbi den. Sushin är otrolig. Så många olika typer av fisk användes. Vi var mätta efter 10 rätter. Den enda kritiken är att det inte gjordes något för att göra matupplevelsen speciell/unik. Jag har varit på flera Michelinrestauranger och den här håller inte måttet. Vår servitör var kall och inte välkomnande - och det fanns inga överraskningar eller förklaringar av smaker / koncept bakom rätterna

Om du någonsin i Sao Paulo och är fan av japansk mat kan du inte missa denna otroliga upplevelse på juni's sushibar. Ett urval av de bästa och färskaste fiskarna på marknaden i en fantastisk atmosfär. I det ögonblick du provar det heta riset med den kalla skivna fisken, med rätt mängd sojasås och wasabi (krydda smaksättning) som plockats av kocken. En stor skullsvagn till ditt förfogande, liksom öl och vin. Tillsammans med kockupplevelsen har du också en speciell starter och en öken. Kaffe eller te i slutändan är valfritt, men vanligtvis föredrar du att lämna med smaken på maten. Du kan inte gå fel. Fantastisk!

Det var den bästa sushi vi någonsin har haft nöjet att provsmaka, i en mycket intim och personlig miljö tillsammans med juni Sakamoto själv och en handfull andra gäster så lyckliga som vi var. Erfarenheten sätter ett leende på ansiktet i hela och är en som vi definitivt kommer ihåg.

Min fru och jag åkte dit för att fira vår bröllopsdag, och vi betjänades av Ryu (inte juni, för hans dagordning var redan full vid bokningstillfället, en dag före). Vi blev överraskade av Ryu service, han är en mycket ödmjuk och trevlig sushiman, förklarade oss alla tvivel och detaljer (jag är en väldigt nyfiken person) och gav oss tips och recept för att försöka oss hemma. Vid slutet av middagen bad jag om en bild till juni och till vår förvåning lämnade han sin plats bakom bordet och kom till oss för en bättre bild, gratulerade han oss och tackade oss för besöket. . . Wow. . Vi förväntade oss verkligen inte detta. Utmärkt mat, utmärkt service, utmärkt upplevelse. . . . det kommer med sitt pris, men helt värt det - en dag att komma ihåg! :)

Folk brukar säga att efter att ha ätit i Japan kommer ingen sushi i världen att tillfredsställa dig igen. . . Jag brukade tänka detsamma men det är klart att de aldrig kom till denna plats. Ärligt talat ligger det på nivå med några förnyade Michelin-stjärniga restauranger i Tokyo, med skillnaden att du inte behöver vänta 1 månad för att boka bord. . . Förvänta dig inte att det blir billigt, precis som Tokyo. . .
