We were very excited to visit this restaurant as it is owned by Eric Jacquin, one of the chef judges of the program Master Chef Brazil.
I guess our expectations were too high.
The atmosphere was ok, nothing espectacular. The big buzz was having Jacquin himself at the restaurant, greeting the customers and passing by the tables during the dinner.
The food was a completely let down. My husband ordered the stake tartare which came with very salty potatoes as a side. I ordered the dish of the day, lobster with pasta. The pasta was good but the lobster was very bland. For dessert we got the famous petit gateau, that honestly saved the night. It was extremely balanced and was very well presented. The best petit gateau I had in years!
The staff were good, but seemed really busy and stressed.
Overall, it didn’t reminded me of high French cuisine at all, more like a regular French cuisine you can have at a regular restaurant in Paris.
This restaurant is extremely overpriced. We left with the feeling that we paid too much for an experience that let us down.
I’d recommend this restaurant for those who want to have a cabaret experience with the food as a second thought and not the star of the night.
Unfortunately, I’ll definitely think twice about coming back.

Chef Jacquin's restaurant is excellent opportunity to travel to France without out São Paulo! Everything amazing!

The atmosphere is very good. Tons of middle class Brazilians spending money on a fancy dinner. My friends and I were very happy with the staff and the design of the restaurant. Good decorations, nice music 🎶, vibe, but the food itself was just ok, even though they are very expensive (overpriced).
Honestly three people having appetizers, main meal and deserts cost around 1.700,00. A little too much for 'ok' food.

Fun facts from a TV chef's restaurant ... or bistrot ...

The Filet Chateaubriand was overcooked. Petit Fours and the bread of the salmon appetizer were stale.
The silverware looks like it came from a real bistrot, very old.
They don't have the correct glasses for spirits.
The lounge on the second floor is weird, it does not appear to be a professional restaurant, somewhat adapted.

The best part of the dinner was the coffee.

Very bad food for R$425 per person.

Hope to have a better experience next time!
