Amazing place! The decor is beautiful, the food is absolutely delicious (I had the brunch option). The waiter I had was very kind and helped me order by explaining the dishes. Highly recommend 💚

I tried the bobo de camarão and it was amazing! I asked for a bit of limão since it's even more tasty like that and the guy that was serving me brought it in a minute. Very good service, amazing flavors and such a colorful place

P.s. I was really hungry but couldn't finish it. It's very tastful and filling!

Really cute restaurant in Santa Teresa! They had a special menu for festas juninas & gave it a try. I really liked the sweeter sides, like the canje a and the sweet corn bread in contrast to the soup/caldo and the sausage. The meal also comes with a complimentary side of boiled peanuts which I appreciate! Really lovely staff and ambiance as well. :)

Vi tog Santa Teresa spårvagn på en söndag morgon utan några specifika planer i åtanke. Vid ett av stoppen bestämde vi oss för att hitta någonstans att äta. Denna bedårande Cafe do Alto hade en väntelista men vi bestämde oss för att bara vänta lite och se om vi kunde komma in. Tydligen, på söndagar, de har en allt du kan äta brunch så det är mycket populärt. Det var lite varmt ute så vi sökte skugga tvärs över gatan medan vi väntade. Värdarna vid dörren, kom över och erbjöd alla kaffe, vatten eller juice medan vi väntade. Jag kan inte minnas att jag någonsin gick till en restaurang som var så snäll och kollade till deras väntande gäster! När vi kom in maten var utmärkt och vi var så glada att tog sig tid att njuta av denna härliga oas!

Stannade i närheten i Santa Teresa och Cafe Do Alto var en rekommendation och det gjorde inte besviken. Hade en fantastisk sen lunch och menyn var var omfattande. Som celiaki blev jag bortskämd med val med både huvudrätter och desserter. Tyvärr under Carnaval stängde det tidigt några dagar eller så skulle vi ha återvänt till en kvällsmåltid. Santa Teresa är enligt vår mening ganska säker men verkar initialt ganska trasslig. Om du kommer från någon annanstans i staden bäst ta en taxi på natten eller Blonde Tram eftersom det finns ett stopp utanför dagen.

En av de bästa restaurangerna i detta grannskap. Bra valuta för pengarna, utsökt mat, ännu bättre service. Servern är den mest söta och vänliga i Brasilien. Han pratar också engelska. Gick tre gånger i veckan. Oslagbar kvalitet - prisförhållande.

Andra gången besöker och det var lika bra om inte bättre. Menyn hade både portugisiska och engelska och det finns en hel del veggie- och veganalternativ samt en fin blandning av brasiliansk mat. Trevlig atmosfär och ett trevligt ställe att stanna vid mitten av spårvagnsresan.

Perfekt för sen frukost / tidig lunch. Personalen var vänlig och stämningen var riktigt trevlig! Maten var god. Kanske ingen gastronomisk upplevelse men det var inte vad jag förväntade mig. Sammantaget upplevelsen är en solid 5!

Min partner och jag åt här och båda haft grundligt vår måltid. Vi delade en förrätt (jag kan inte komma ihåg namnet på den men var ostbitar med tamarindchutney) vilket var helt utsökt. Jag hade feijioada för main och min partner hade xinxim galhinas (jag tror att det var vad det kallades - det är en kycklingrätt) och båda var väldigt läckra. Personalen var härlig, mycket knäppa dekorationer och en fantastisk atmosfär. Menyn indikerade också tydligt glutenfritt (andra intoleranser och veganer markerade också) vilket var bra för mig. Jag skulle definitivt gå tillbaka

Denna plats rekommenderades i en guidebok och det såg lite annorlunda ut mot normala grillade köttplatser. Hade en tapiokapannkaka med nötkött och ägg. Ovanligt men ganska gott. Det fanns en stor turnégrupp som åt på samma gång samt några lokalbefolkningen. Värt ett besök.

Rekommenderas denna plats av ägaren av Gerthrudes vara & vara och så glad att vi kom! ! ! maten var verkligen underbar och när vi kämpade för att välja en extra aptitretare servitören föreslog bläckfisk sallad. Så glad att han gjorde det var fantastiskt.

Om du vill ha en perfekt liten smak av Brasilien försök denna plats. Läckra IPAs, prova mango och härlig mat (vi hade bara croquettes men de var v läckra). Mycket trevlig personal och en avkopplande atmosfär.

Vegan mat var otroligt och personalen var super vänlig trots att vi inte talar portugisiska. Atmosfären och det faktiska kaféet var sjukt! Definitivt kommer igen!

Vi anlände strax före stängning på en söndag som webbplats / google / tripadvisor hade 3 olika stängningstider men de låt oss fortfarande och inte bråttom oss alls. Trevlig måltid, bra att prova typisk brasiliansk mat. De har också ett stort utbud av öl. En av de dyrare måltiderna vi hade dock.

Min syster och jag rekommenderades detta café av en av de många ateljéerna vi besökte i Santa Teresa. Jag valde den läckra Bobo Vegano maträtten som var helt mild och flavorful, serveras med coconut ris. Min syster åtnjöt en läcker "svartögd ärt" sallad. Vi valde en av de många lokala hantverk som kompletterar måltiden. Ölmarkeringen är en av de bästa i Rio - olika IPA, lagers och pilsners. Vi delade fina kalla Saison med Tamarind. Jag skulle definitivt återvända hit, till denna stadsdel på en veckodag bara för att njuta av en annan måltid. Tabeller för 2 var tillgängliga på vår vardag besök och placerad var packad av den tid vi lämnade (ca 2 PM). Engelsktalande personal var mycket tillmötesgående och toaletten var obefläckade.

Gick här två gånger under vår vistelse i Rio. Perfekt för vegan och glutenfri alternativ! ! Läckra curryrätter och tapioka med pumpa är det bästa jag hade. Kokos dessert är för riktig söt tand. Vi hade mycket, det var inga problem att ta tillbaka det hemma så vi hade lite curry till frukost. Definitivt gå här, vegan, celiac eller inte: det är perfekt.

Fantastiskt läge i hjärtat av Santa Teresa. Servitörer kände engelska som är sällsynt i Brasilien. Mycket bra val av vegetariska alternativ - igen en sällsynthet i Brasilien. Utsökt mat. Rimligt pris. Fellös service.

Super välkomnande! Roligt att prova några traditionella brasilianska rätter utan kött. Mat var verkligen läckra och så många alternativ! Mycket glad att ha hittat denna plats under vår vistelse i Rio.
