Excellent experience for an impromptu dinner in Rio. We had walked into the restaurant by chance earlier in the day and decided to visit for dinner. Absolutely loved our dinner here. We had the lasagna, and the bow tie pasta. The sangria was awesome and the sweetest touch to the night was being serenaded by the three-piece band and I got the chance to sing with them as well. Beautiful staff. Please give this little slice of Italy in the middle of the Copacabana strip a try. You won’t regret it.

We went here a couple of days back. A popular italian place on Copacabana recommended by Blumar Tours.  Our experience was not good. Lasagna was overcooked so that the pasta was mushy. Waiter did not know what to do but called the  manager who agreed to replace it. Ordered the veal ravioli with truffle sauce. Veal stuffing was fine, ravioli was overcooked and  the sauce was like Campbell's mushroom soup. My guest was having a better experience and enjoying the clam speghetti  - until he found a hair in it. The manager was called again - he took the dish away and did not charge for it - but no words uttered,  no contrition or appology. It is incomprehensible why this retaurant  is on Blumar's printed  recommended list.

This is my new favorite Italian restaurant in Copacabana.
The service and the food are excellent and I love the view on Copacabana.
Their Parmesan is very tasty and they offer a selection of Italian deserts.
We paid R$ 328 for two main courses, two cocktails and two deserts.

This restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel and we checked it out. The service here was outstanding. Unfortunately the food didn't follow suit. It was just okay. The portions are large and the main dishes can be shared between two people. My pasta was chewy and sauce was a touch bland.

The location was wonderful and we sat under the tent outside with the sea breeze and the cacophony of the Rio traffic. They also had live music with some old musicians playing some tunes and also played by some customer's request.

Min vän och jag har varit här många gånger och när han är i Rio går vi till Dom Camillo för lunch och massor av drinkar. Det är här vi diskuterar och försöker lösa världens problem. Servitören är bror till min kompis före detta dörrvakt i Rio. Vi brukar ha lunchspecialerna och i allmänhet är de normalt inte så dåliga, men igår 15 mars 2019 var de inte särskilt bra alls. Pappardellen gjordes med konserverad svamp eller burksvamp. Servitören serverade min tallrik till min kompis och vice versa. Kom igen Dom Camillo, konserverad svamp i en italiensk restaurang! De två rätterna var inte alls aptitliga till utseendet och jag åt bara ca 25 % av mina. Baserat på denna erfarenhet kan jag inte ärligt rekommendera denna restaurang tills de korrigera sina fel. Servicen är dock mycket bra. Jag märkte ett par som åt lunch och genom sina läpprörelser frågade jag dem på franska om de hade njutit av sina måltider. Sa att det var mycket bra och de var från Marocko.

Som vegetarian är det svårt att hitta en plats som serverar mer än bara chips och pizza. Vi valde Don Camillo när de gjorde veggie pasta. Tjänsten är stor och mycket vänlig personal. Pastan var färsk och välsmakande. (Men kunde göra med lite mer smak och jag tror att pastan behövde laga mer). Uteplatsen är bekväma och har en fin känsla.

Vi hade en bra måltid här. Perfekt för vegetarianer och servrarna ger en bra service. Vad mer vill du ha : )

Bra italiensk mat, nära stranden. Högt rekommenderad. De har bra underhållning, levande musik och sittplatser utomhus. Du kan se stranden medan du äter.

Don Camillo ligger tvärs över gatan från Copacabana Beach. Platsen är trevligt, vi fick sitta i sitt uteservering. De nämnde att de har levande musik men vi gick runt 7:00 men det fanns ingen levande musik. Vi beställde bläckfisk, margarita pizza och havsabborre. Maten var ok. Det är en anständig familjerestaurang inget fint. Ingenting om denna restaurang kommer tillbaka till det. Tråkig italiensk restaurang.

Don Camilo rekommenderades av hotellansvarig på Porto Bay Hotel. Ca en tjugo minuters promenad nerför stranden. Vi tänkte pizza, men bordet bredvid oss hade linguini vongole som såg utsökt så vi beställde en prosciutto pizza och en pasta. Pizza var bra, men lite mjuk. Pastan var utmärkt. Tjänsten var stor och vår servitör talade perfekt engelska.

I jämförelse med övriga retaurangen på Copacabana som vi hann besöka på vår resa, så stack den här ut. För det första otroligt välkomnande mottagande, sedan att få äta på bord med vita dukar istället för papperstabletter på de andra. Vi åt alla i sällskapetmolika rätter och alla var nöjda , prisvärt. Det svarta risotton med skaldjur var otroligt god även om den inte var så fin att se på. En aning dyrare ännövriga påmgaran, men defenetivt värt det.

Vår receptionist Jos på Pestana rekommenderar det för oss och det var mycket bra val. Restaurangen var full när vi kom dit, men i en andra kille hitta ett bord för oss. Vi beställer lite bruschetta + grana padano och 2 pizzor för huvudrätten. Förrätter kom mycket snabbt och de var läckra. Pizzor var stora och mycket välsmakande jämfört med andra pizzor i Brasilien. Människor runt försöker pasta och hummer och de var mycket nöjda med sin smak. Om du vill prova lite god italiensk mat borde du besöka det.

Läckra mat i en bra strandinställning. Uppmärksam personal. Min partner hade pizza. Trevlig tunn skorpa med kryddig läckra toppings. Jag hade fettuccinen med bläckfisk, räkor och bläckfisk i en citronförband. Det var så gott och bara det perfekta beloppet.

Du betalar för åsikterna och platsen. Denna italienska matplats på Av. Atlantica har en bra plats, omfattande meny men saknar att leverera bra italiensk mat. Priserna är höga. . . . väldigt högt. Valfri bröd / smörkorg var en rip off. . Pasta var genomsnittliga och sätt dyr. Inte en dålig plats som ett snabbt bränslestopp efter att du tröttnat i Copacabana men förvänta dig inte att bli imponerad av maten.

Platsen är på Copacabana boulevard som säkert lägger till priset, men även då vi förväntade oss att maten skulle vara bättre. Pastarätterna var väldigt enkla, för över 50 reais per maträtt skulle du förvänta dig en bättre måltid.

3 av oss hade hummerna, saftiga! Jag hade Dom Camilo spaghetti med räkor och chili - så mycket bra, jag kunde äta detta igen. . . och vi delade en stor tallrik med kung räkor med räkor ris. . . bra öl och bra service. Högt rekommenderad
