We were in Rio for 5 days and luckily found this restaurant the first day we arrived.
We were impressed so much that we ate there 3 times.
The  staff were very friendly and attentive . Loved their fish dish with caramelized banana and raisins.

Brazilian dining ; not French dining .
I was anticipating a French evening of dining and service . Instead , I felt I was in a ordinary Brazilian restaurant . It was a Monday night . 8:30pm . Not busy .
Ambience :
the decor was nice . A pity the tables did not have white linen table cloths to give a more elegant appearance. What really ruined the ambience was the 1970’s American rock music playing over the poor quality speakers . I was forced to listen to The Eagles, Peter Frampton , Fleetwood Mac ,Gordon Lightfoot in a “ French restaunt/bistro “.  French music would have been perfect to improve the ambience .
Service :
The staff were all polite and friendly , but did not have the service sophistication/ service training  one would expect in a high end , expensive restaurant. ( Dinner for one person : Rs500 . or $100usd) . I was not properly greeted which was an immediate red flag . I sat and waited for 10-15 minutes before I finally was able to order a drink . Red flag #2.
I ordered a bottle of  red wine and was extremely impressed with the Brazilian  Cabernet Sauvignon /Sangiovese 2021 Cata Terroirs. Definitely superior over the mediocre Argentine wine options .  Unfortunately, my wine was served 10 minutes after my appetizer was delivered to my table . Red Flag #3.
Food :
Red flag #4 !  I ordered the Ovo Poché Paul Bocuse ( poached egg) and  Costela asada, Demi glace, aligot and pearl onions .
The Ovo Poché Paul Bocuse was served to me cold- tepid  . I told the waiter , and he apologized and brought me a hot Ovo Poché a few minutes later .
The costela asada was a disaster . The aligot ( mashed potatoes with cheese ) was so starchy from over whipping , it had the consistency , texture of a pancake batter of flour and water . I asked the waiter for French fries .  The costela asada was very tender ; but extremely salty . I know Brazilians enjoy salty food  but this dish was unacceptably salty.
For Leblon residents who fondly remember the very excellent Le Formidable French restaurant that closed a few years ago , LeBlond is a dismal alternative.

I reserve 5 stars for truly memorable experiences and most importantly, memorable food. Each dish was a combination of ingredients that I have never tasted together. An incredible fusion of Brazilian and French cuisine. Especially impressive was the scallop ceviche which included a mild yet unexpected coconut milk dill sauce. My entree, fish w/ caramelized banana, was a mix of flavors that I will remember forever...please try it!!!

Didn't know it was Michelin rated when we arrived though, after eating I couldn't imagine it wasn't. We ordered 5 entradas and it was it but too much! Tartare was huge & amazing, the poached egg(who knew or would recognize?) was beautiful, rib stuffed croquettes, exquisite, Bombons Crocantes ao Brie, OMG!

This place deserves its fame. Food is really good and, beyond that, dishes are big enough; the place is not that type of fancy place where the dish does not fulfill your desire for food. They have an authorial cocktail menu, which is creative and good. It is located in a nice area, 500m from Antero de Quental metro station and it is also reachable by several bus lines. The price is high, it is an expensive place; but, honestly, they charge for what they deliver, it is worth your money.

Brasiliansk mat ; inte fransk mat . Jag väntade mig en fransk kväll med middag och service . Istället kände jag att jag var på en vanlig brasiliansk restaurang . Det var en måndagskväll . 8 : 30 pm . Aligoten ( potatismos med ost ) var så stärkelserik efter övervispning att den hade konsistensen , konsistensen hos en pannkakssmet av mjöl och vatten . Jag frågade servitören efter pommes frites . Costela asada var väldigt mör ; men extremt salt . Jag vet att brasilianare gillar salt mat men den här rätten var oacceptabelt salt. För Leblonbor som ömt minns den mycket utmärkta franska restaurangen Le Formidable som stängde för några år sedan är LeBlond ett dystert alternativ. Mat: 2 / 5 | Service: 2 / 5 | Atmosfär: 2 / 5

Upptagen restaurang i Leblon. Trevliga rätter. Biff tartaar var härlig. Min dotter (och jag) gillade "mousse au chocolat". Inspirerad av det typiska Paris-brasseriet.

Vi älskar Claude Troigross restauranger, jag kände inte Le Blond, min fru sa till mig: du måste veta det. Vi gick till lunch, läcker, fisk med banan och räkorrisoto. Litet urval av vin. Läcker öken.

Bra atmosfär och mat, rimliga priser, men det var synd att - till skillnad från tidigare besök - vi alla kände oss under press att lämna innan vi var färdiga att äta så att bordet kunde ges till väntar kunder Vi (tre av oss) hade inte varit där länge, men innan vi alla hade slutat huvudrätterna började servitören ta bort diskar och tallrikar - till den punkt som jag var tvungen att berätta för honom att det han gjorde var inte acceptabel övning i bra restauranger internationellt Det verkar som att han följde instruktioner från ledningen, men om så skulle det bör omprövas I alla fall kommer jag säkert att gå tillbaka eftersom det är en bra restaurang

Hittade denna restaurang på en PR-bok för Rio och bestämde sig för att prova. Massor av alternativ för vegetarisk, vänlig service och anständigt prissatta. Det finns menyer R 75, bra vinval. Jag rekommenderar denna restaurang.

Denna plats är otroligt. Vi letade efter en plats med goda skaldjur och cocktails i Rio de Janeiro, och vi hade tur att hitta Le Blond. Jag beställde skaldjur stekpannan som var mycket välsmakande. Vi beställde också päron gorgonzola sallad, brie kuber, ostron, musslor och räkor risotto - jag har inga ord för att beskriva hur bra de var. Jag rekommenderar absolut denna plats om du är i Rio de Janeiro och ser ut att ha en trevlig middag eller drink i stadsdelen Leblon. Personalen är vänlig och inredningen är stor. Trots att det är en fransk plats, har den en brasiliansk touch som är värt att undersöka. Priserna är högre jämfört med andra platser i Rio, men jag är säker på att du inte kommer ångra erfarenheten.

Benämningen Troigros är synonymt med god mat! Du kan gå utan rädsla och du kommer bli glad! Tjänsten är flitig, artig och maten läcker (prova choklad souffle). Men det är omöjligt att samtala ens med den som står framför dig. Det är ansträngande. Jag undrar om det finns en lösning på detta problem eftersom det motverkar en avkastning.

En ytterligare cookie cutter restaurang läggs till CT familjen av restauranger. Typ av snabbmatskök utan omsorg eller uppfinningsrikedom med olycklig robot service, alla inrymda i en "cliched" fransk bistro inspirerad atmosfär. Mitt Paul Bocuse-ägg kunde inte vara längre från mästerkockens recept, ägg över soppig brioche med vispad asparges och en tung "från lådan" sås. Ost souffl var halv anständigt, men tung. Öken var den värsta, en äggig smärta perdu med vanila "iced" cream och dulce de leche som hör hemma i soporna. Undvik denna överprissatta wannabe bistro.

Jag är vanligtvis mycket skeptisk till restaurangerna i detta område som de flesta är löjligt dyr och erbjuder bara OK mat. Ändå insisterade min pappa på att jag skulle prova den här så jag gick för det. Jag beställde den klassiska "Steak & Fries" med en bernaisse sås. Det var utmärkt. Tjänsten var mycket exakt och inte påträngande. Den verkliga överraskningen var priset som var riktigt rättvist och gjorde måltiden ännu bättre.

Känd kock i Rio. Enkelt men en mysig plats. Mycket dålig akustik. Trendigt nu - massor av människor. Inredning är en blandning av en gammal fransk bistro (fin) med nya aluminiumpannor som hänger från taket (inte ok - gamla / använda kokkärl skulle ha gjort mycket mer mening och skapat mer jämvikt). Middag med vänner. 2 par. Smakfulla rätter men de flesta köper på små storlekar. Kom inte fram för hungrig. Fisken med bananer - en av de 3 signaturdiskarna rekommenderas - är faktiskt väldigt, mycket liten. Kanske att kontrollera priserna och vara konkurrenskraftiga. Men den riktiga dåliga scenen kommer om du ifrågasätter servitörer eller ber att prata med ma tre om det. Ett nej nej En servitör svarade orubbligt på min fru (för att uttrycka det mildt) och nämnda rätter delas (även om menyn säger huvudkurser). En anställd som bör sparkas minst sagt. För att vara rättvis finns det en annan plats från samma grupp där rätter verkligen görs att delas men inte den här. På grund av det fruktansvärda och oacceptabla beteendet hos en servitör, kan de små storlekarna på skivorna och den inte unika matstilen vi inte återvända inte rekommendera denna plats. Det är bara trendigt. Det kommer att blekna med denna typ av service.
