Beautiful place. Don't go too late because it gets dark quick and there's no phone signal to call a taxi. After this, the only guys that will help you are the two guys on motorcycles to help you take your backpack and cell phones so you have a lighter pocket to walk all the way home

Great place for adventure. You can hike , paraglider, or hanglide. We were going for a hike with a local Brazilian as he was giving us the info about his favorite place to hike "Pedra Bonita" he mentions you can also go handgliding. Since that has been on my bucket list, well it was a must do! Therefore, I highly suggest it! My instructor was very serious about safety yet friendly and very professional. The pricing was economical and 3 cameras were taking your different angles 2 were included in his package deal. If you ever get to visit "Pedra Bonita" translates to "Beautiful Rock" it definitely stands up to its name. The beautiful views and beach scenery was absolutely peaceful yet breathtaking especially from birdseye view. Handgliding was a pleasantly peaceful magnificent experience. I would do again and again. I had a bit of nervousness but they walk you through everything a few times so you get the hang of it. No pun intended.😉 Then, you are off running into the sky literally soaring high above ground feeling the sensation a bird must feel of freedom and flight.

Fantastic hike for a breathtaking view of Rio de Janeiro. Aim to arrive early, at 8am, to get a quick parking space in the lot next to the entrance. The trail is beautiful and full of vegetation and animals.
Tip: there's no shadow in the top! Bring water and sun protection.
