One of my most memorable experiences in Galapagos. Got to swim with a group of about 30 hammerhead sharks just after arriving. Can be done both snorkeling or diving, although the only people I heard complaining of not seeing hammerheads were the divers. Snorkelers are usually luckier.

One of the most memorable parts of our trip to the Galapagos.  We saw plenty of turtles and fish.  Even saw a shark in the distance.

Nice for snorkeling, the view is quite limited. You can see hammerhead sharks, rays, turtles and sea lions. There are also skin burning little jelly fish  so be sure to wear an isoprene suit!

We came with a tour and were lucky to snorkel and see hammerhead sharks and black tipped sharks! There was a very friendly sea lion playing with us. Beautiful star fish on the rock and lots of other fish. Unfortunately small jellyfish as well that stung our face! Luckily the sting goes away but ahhh. And there were pockets of water that felt like ice! Very much worth it!

I came here in October 2017 with Guiding Galapagos.  Our boat first went around the massive rock formation and we saw sea turtles, sea lions, frigate birds, blue footed boobies, and nazca boobies. Then we got into the very cold water and snorkeled in a crack which was super awesome. Then we actually swam through the opening of the 2 rocks and around the edge of Kicker Rock.  I saw sardines, turtles, starfish, sea lions, spotted eagle ray, bioluminiscent jellyfish!, galapagos shark, black tipped reef shark. It was not too sunny so unfortunately it was a bit hard to see down but even with the clouds we were able to see a decent amount of turtles and sharks.  The light up jellyfish were everywhere, so much so that I literally swam through them but nothing happened.  The lights on them are really awesome to watch; it was one of my favorite things to see while in the Galapagos.
