A Taste of Heaven!  The manager, Robert, worked with me for months ahead of time to make sure EVERY detail was in place when the 5 of us arrived - my husband, myself, my father, my son (10) and daughter (13).  This included GORGEOUS ROOMS, DELICIOUS, HEALTHY FOODS and INCREDIBLY PERSONALIZED TOURS!  The setting was a beautiful rain forest.  Tropical plants and turtles everywhere!  The main floor had the dining room, kitchen and office with the guest rooms upstairs for us.  I couldn’t believe our view!  We did have some geckos joining us in the room. This was probably the only thing I didn’t like about the hotel, other than the fact that we couldn’t flush toilet paper but that is normal there.   The manager was aware of my diet needs and we had wonderful meals in the adorable family eating area.  The kitchen staff may not be able to speak English but they are so kind and hard working.  The kids love that there is a sweet golden retriever on site who enjoys the guests.  The beds are super comfortable.  The manager planned our specialized tours for each day and they were so fantastic.  At the end of the days we would spend time walking the hotel grounds and truly amazing!

My wife and I stayed here one year ago, but I forgot to submit a review. Everything here was absolutely perfect and it was clear how much effort was put in to making sure the guests are happy. The food was excellent, the rooms were clean, and everyone was very friendly. This place was a wonderful getaway from the crowded, dusty, and hot streets on Puerto Ayora. If I were to visit the Galapagos again, I would definitely return to Semilla Verde.

Had an amazing stay at Semilla Verde! Such incredible staff and amazing food. Rooms are super beautiful and well kept, and the property is absolutely stunning! Got to see more tortoises than I could have ever expected! 10/10 would recommend, hands down the best stay in all of Santa Cruz. I forgot something on site and within hours, a taxi dropped it off at my new hotel. The hospitality is wonderful and definitely hope to come back in the future. Had a great experience staying with Semilla Verde back in November. All of the staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. The grounds are beautiful with multiple trails. There are 16 Tortoises on the property!

Semilla Verde provides a quiet and relaxed setting. We very much enjoyed watching the sunsets off the balcony at the end of the day.

The highlight of our experience with Semilla Verde is the personalized service that Robert and the staff provide for you. They truly want you to have a great experience in the Galapagos. Robert is also very connected within the town and community, he provides great input on guide services and the best spots to see in the area!
