Beautiful beach and gentle ocean water. We took the boat for $10 each way per person rather than the 40 minute walk. I’ve heard the walk is very nice but with limited time the boat is nice. We are not beach people but otherwise it was very nice. We did see a bunch of marine Tortuga Beach iguanas, resting under the trees

Breathtaking white sand beach with marine iguanas going about their business. Easily accessible by a short walk from Puerto Ayura and free, with only registration at the entrance required. In the sheltered bay you can snorkel without worrying about the currents or waves and easily see sharks, turtles (so many), stingrays and marine iguanas. There is shade and poles to suspend your belongings. This bay is family friendly and the depth is shallow. I would come early as it can get pretty busy later in the day.

Great place, where you’ll definitely see marine iguanas! Take the 2.5km walk, rather than the boat. There is a nice place to swim and enjoy the sun at the beach as well.

Must visit when on the island!  Absolutely beautiful, not crowed, no noise other than the waves and wind.  Sand was super fine.  Just loved it!
