The last time we ate like this we were at the Waterside at Bray. What a find as we wandered the streets of Lima. A truly hidden gem owned by two brothers. The chef is a genius and front of house Andre could not be more attentive. As two Brits in our 70s who have travelled extensively we can wholeheartedly recommend this place. Very good food, but slightly short of excellent. Ceviche was very fine, nicely presented, flavorful, and balanced. Tacos were tasty, decadent, a bit heavy, but the presentation was off. Confit was splendid but nothing life changing. Coco brule was yummy but short of 5 stars on the balance. Service was good. Head chef seemed to be visibly angry with his younger chefs, while seated at the bar. Ruins the otherwise very nice vibe of the place.

What a delight!!! By coincidence I stopped by this magnificent restaurant on my first night in Peru. I came back four times. The food is not only splendid but also surprising, inspirational with an outstanding friendly staff. Amazing combination of French cooking perfection, Peruvian ingredients and flavors barely found in Europe

This place was probably the most amazing meal I had in Peru. It's definitely top 5 restaurants in the city.
The chef is amazing, the Somm is also brilliant. All the staff in general were great.
The only suggestion I would make, is to clear up the information about the tasting menu, because it has a two person minimum, which I wanted to do, and my wife didn't. So we chose 6 meals a la carte and did a tasting menu with that.
The food was all great. The Anticucho was my favorite of them all.
Spent about 115 USD for the whole meal, so it was very good in terms of pricing for something this special.

Without a doubt, this was our favorite restaurant in Peru, even after visiting Lima, Cusco, and Aguas Calientes.

We took the advice of another reviewer and didn't spend too much time figuring out how to get into Central. We had already visited Astrid y Gaston for lunch before coming here. Looking back, I wish I had saved my appetite for this meal.

The menu was simple yet creative. The server was great at recommending dishes if you were up for an adventure. We enjoyed all the dishes - ceviche mixto, tiradito de bonito, ostras, and tartaletas acevichada. We had room for dessert, but the coca brûlée didn't capture my heart.

The cocktails were generally decent. If you enjoy pisco sour, try the Contraste sour.
