We had a super 5-course dinner, with the pina colada and caramel dessert as a clear stand out. We chose to have the “world famous curry” as an add on although I’m not sure why it was so world famous, as it was simply a cold curry. Nice atmosphere and service. One thing I would comment on is why put comments on your booking, such as allergies, when you have to remind staff before the food is served. Would be 5 star service if she recognized this when she seated us. Can recommend based on the food though 😊

The service and the food were impeccable. The set menu was perfectly built, my company and I had different favorites along the journey, and the wine by the glass selection is a decent variety. Laidback, unpretentious staff, making it a relaxing atmosphere to just focus on the food experience and your company. Recommend pairing the current dessert with the plum sake. That was a great flavor combo!

(Nb, if you have allergies or dietary restrictions, you should let them know in advance. I have seen other comments complaining about that they have a fixed menu and not much wiggle room on the spot, but you should also do your part of the effort and let them know up front if there are any peculiar needs.)

Still a notch to get five stars on the food, but Betong certainly makes up for it by the service and atmosphere! Quite reasonably priced, this "introduction to fine dining" certainly punches above it's weight. Would I go back? Maybe not within the next quarter, but absolutely I would as their menu changes.

We happened accros this lovely Swedish restaurant. Little did we know we had found the gem of the neighborhood. The food is absolutely amazing, very unique and very flavour. A family owned restaurant that makes you feel like one of their own. Very knowledgeable about the food, the culture and recommendation did not disappoint.

Bone marrow tartar was a revolutionary take on a classic dish with copious portions. Very nice wine selection too. Will be coming back to explore more of this intricate menu.

So good! We had a great lively meal at a good price. Everything is super indulgent. Great waiters. Fun music and atmosphere :) All the sharing plates were tasty, the burrata with Nduja and pistachio was a favorite. Bacon and gruyere pizza was delicious and salty! 👍 will definitely be back!

The food here is very delicious, and the flavors are great. However, I found the prices to be quite high for the portion sizes. Additionally, the waiting time was longer than expected; we waited around 30 minutes for a sharing dish, and then had to wait another 40 minutes for the main course to arrive.

On a positive note, the food is truly flavorful, and the service from most of the staff was excellent – they were friendly and helpful.

As a side note, I would recommend avoiding the chicken skin, as it was overly salty and greasy. The chicken itself also seemed as though it had been fried for too long before being served.

Overall, while the food is tasty, for the price, you can find better options elsewhere. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Overall, a very nice dinner. All food was tasting good, was fresh and had quality. Not THE experience, but an honest deal and a great atmosphere. I loved my burrata starter with bread, and the fish was excellent. Service was very kind and there was a laidback comfy feeling. Definitely worth a try and a come back.

Had an amazing dinner at Jimmy’s — a place that feels like a hidden gem, but is surely to become more renowned. Everything was so flavorful and presented unpretentiously. The place itself is very cute and the ambiance was lively. It’s also located in a really cool/fun part of Oslo.
