Best Indian food in Madeira (Funchal, Lido). We already tried some places but this one was definitely the best. The food is authentic Indian food and the owner is really kind. You can tell that he really enjoys in what he is doing and loved the talks we had. I would definitely come back to this place, great food, lovely people and really nice ambience.

Our best meal in Madeira. We were craving some comfort food and this hit the spot. Great prices for large portions of tasty Indian food. The owner was really friendly; don’t miss out on this experience!

Owner is very nice person. They speak very respectfully he speak very friendly. The food was very delicious very tasty we are eating dal and roti naan served very well The restaurant was at a very good location, the seating area was very good. It is 250 meters away from the bus stop anybody come here Madeira please For those who want to travel, please eating food this restaurant with your friends and family. We ate here two days ago and it was delicious. We ordered menu1 with vegetable samosa sag Allo and kulfi and additionally mango chicken. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. At the end we were treated to local drinks. I recommend this restaurant very much.

We pre booked this restaurant as we know it is popular on Fridays.  We were welcomed like old friends as we have been coming to this restaurant for a number of years.  As we have been in Madeira nearly 2 weeks, we decided to have a selection of small starters rather than a curry and rice each.  This worked well and the restaurant were only too happy to accommodate our request.  No room for desserts but when the bill came a choice of dessert wines, brandy, passion fruit or cherry - lovely touch.  All the food was cooked fresh to order and popadums crisp and fresh.  If you fancy a change of taste and menu with great service and food, go here!
