Read some of the reviews before my stay and was a little nervous as there was some poor ones. Have to say other than the thin walls there was nothing I read in the negative reviews that I experienced. Every single one of the staff I interacted with was very friendly and engaging. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower could use a bit of an upgrade, but was not a issue.

First night there was some loud people in the room next to mine with the thin walls but I turned on the white noise Machine they have in the room and I was back asleep in minutes.

Great location, great staff, fair pricing. Would stay here again without a doubt.

On Sat, 3/15, at approximately 11:30 AM PDT, I attempted to check in at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District. A female front desk associate helped me but couldn't find my reservation. Upon checking my Hilton app, I discovered I had mistakenly booked my reservation for Sun, 3/16. I blurted, "Oh no" and stated my error, and a male associate standing nearby laughed and mockingly repeated, "Oh nooo..." The female associate also laughed, saying that incorrect dates or hotels were typically why she couldn't find a reservation. This response was unhelpful and unnecessary, given my fatigue after a 3 AM CDT travel start and the now-added stress of not having accommodations for me, my husband, and 2 children in a different city. The associate checked room availability and offered rooms with 1 king bed/double bed, which were unsuitable for my family. I also inquired about canceling my reservation for the following day, and she suggested I call Hilton, stating, "Maybe they will cancel it for you." Before leaving, she called me back to the desk to reconfirm the lack of 2-queen rooms. My family sat in our rental car in front of the hotel while my husband searched for alternative accommodations, and I contacted Hilton customer service. A 12-minute phone call with an obliging, understanding, and kind customer service rep resulted in the cancellation of my reservation and a same-day reservation at another Hilton, which restored my faith in Hilton's customer service and appreciation for frequent and loyal members. This contrasted sharply with the unhelpful and unprofessional service I received at the front desk. I am thoroughly disappointed with the lack of assistance and initiative and the childish behavior of the Hilton San Francisco Financial District front desk staff. I thought about this experience often during my time there and when I returned home, which prompted a Hilton Guest Assistance case and this review several days later. I also commend the rep who resolved my issue over the phone.

Not the most amazing hotel, fairly basic but it’s been updated recently so everything is clean. Awesome location. excellent value for the price of the room. Highly recommend.

The location was good. Felt very safe and we were pretty centrally located to things we wanted to do. The price was really good. The room was dated though. Small pillows and very little water pressure in the shower. Overall I’d stay again for the price.

If you want to stay in China Town area. Then this is the hotel for you.
Great location. Room was very nice with very comfortable bed and pillows. Great staff. When we return this will become our go to place.
So close too so many great Chinese restaurants 😋.
