I have had only one day safari and it has been amazing! Starting pretty early: 7am I was able to see most of the animals with no other people around. Clean and very big park with friendly staff at the entrance.

5 stars for this park. It is the 3rd that I have visited in Kenya.
Don't compare the parks.
They are unique with their own specificities.
Tsavo East is huge with more than 13'000 km2. The sceneries are just stunning, with the dominant red color of the ground, which taints the elephants in red.
You will drive many km but it is part of this park. Go for it...

We did a three day visit to Tsavo East National Park it  was like stepping into an animal paradise! The park's vast landscapes and abundant wildlife made every moment unforgettable. We really enjoyed the game drives, by our guide, spotting elephants, lions, and so many other animals in their natural habitat. The scenery was breathtaking, and the thrill of seeing wildlife up close was unmatched. It was an incredible experience, and we can't wait to go back again😊

We took a shore excursion organized by a Cruise line to visit the park. The road from the port to the national park is really bad with terrible traffic even early in the morning.

The weather was cool and cloudy, unfortunately we didn't get the chance to see all the big 5. Just wish that we could have more time in the park!
