Such an amazing view from up top! Totally unexpected. ⛰️

But the trek to the bottom by the big waves and the beautiful beach 🏝️- crazy tough, not as tough as the way back up however. But worth the view. Not as many make it all the way down, so you’ll not have as many people , the beach is clean - there’s a little stall down for drinks, snacks and life saving coconut water. 🥥

Some shade too under huge cave scooped out of the side of the hill.

Definitely recommend making the time, traveling light but prepared for the sun facing trek. 🥾

PLEASE DO NOT SWIM!
The sea might look calm and inviting but it is not worth the risk. We witnessed an accident of someone who was just standing near the shore/shallow area, but the waves WILL pull you in.

Having said that, in my opinion the hike down is 100% worthwhile. It is mostly climbing and you need to be aware of that, but the sense of accomplishment of going down and up to that amazing view is very rewarding.

I would also recommend going early (before 10AM when all the day tourists come) because the crowds will change your experience.

It is a great place to visit when you know when and what to expect.

Entrance was 10K per car. Plenty of food/snack options around. I did the entire hike down to the beach, and it took about 30 minutes each way (regular hiker in healthy condition). The main problem is however many people are doing the hike, as it’s very hard to pass people so you need to be patient. Once down at the beach, the waves/current is very strong, and supposedly swimming is not recommended and to be done at your own risk. There were several people swimming and I also enterer the water, it was an amazing feeling! Also there’s water for sale down at the beach as well as towel rentals. Hike back up is brutal but the tears will quickly become sweat. Toilets available when you get back up, i paid 15K for a shower. They’re building an elevator (China is) so it should be ready sometime in 2025.

Kelingking Beach is absolutely stunning and one of the most iconic spots in Nusa Penida! The breathtaking cliff view, shaped like a T-Rex, offers a panoramic scene of turquoise waters and white sand below.

They are building a lift so it will be ready in a year or so.
The hike down to the beach is challenging but totally worth it for the pristine beauty and seclusion.

A must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure and incredible photo opportunities!

It was the most beautiful beach i have seen in nusa penida. We visited it at 7-8 and there were maybe 10 people in total. The last 2 km there is crazy otherwise it is okay. The hike down i can not say because just went only halfway it is too dangerous for me. But hiker's lets go.
You can take also nice pictures from above and in 2025 they will finish building an elevator
